Very awkward. You have to serve yourself. When I sat down with my Mom, I realized this was a bad idea & left immediately. As im reading the reviews, I'm glad we did! How someone can open a restaurant without basic 101 restaurant knowledge is beyond me. People go to sit down and relax! Come on now, get it together, else your just waisting everyones time, including yourself. Im still dumbfounded by this being a real business. Change needs to happen immediately to keep your doors open. Just my recommendation. Take care.

Went for the Sunday brunch and they make you pay upfront which I didn't understand at first. We were seated quickly and there were only about 4 other tables occupied.Went up to the buffet and scrambled eggs were gone, bacon also gone, about a fork full of breakfast potatoes were available.I saw the biscuits and gravy and was happy because I love biscuits and gravy, plenty available. Victory, or so I thought. They have an omelette station so I ordered my omelette and went to get a cup of coffee while waiting. No sugar available for the coffee. I asked the cook at the omelette station and he said there should be some next to the coffee but there wasn't. Got my omelette which was good and then dug into the one item on the buffet line that was available, the biscuits and gravy. My hopes for some good biscuits and gravy were short lived. The first bite in an the gray was cold. Not warm, not room temperature but cold.I told the host who sat us and he said okay thanks for letting me know.Finished my omelette and went back to the buffet in the hopes that food had been replenished. 3 strips of bacon available, 1 piece of French toast available and 1 pancake which was stuck to the parchment paper at the bottom of the chaffing dish.I think the food would have been good had there been any available to eat however they were either not prepared for the 6 tables of guests or they are so seriously understaffed that they couldn't keep up with the small amount of guests they had. I now understand why they make you pay upfront. Was really looking forward to this being a new go to brunch stop but unfortunately we will have to pass on the Parched Pug!

Good place that has their own actual chef that is consistently on par with the menu and up to date changes based on seasons and holidays. Food is great. Beer and wine wall is great. Games are great. Overall 5 out of 5 and highly recommended.

Walked in Sunday at 1pm only to find out it was brunch. They told us you couldn't get regular menu items until 2 so we ran a couple errands and came back. When we got back we realized you have to place your order with your phone or smart device, get ready to share a phone number, email address, and credit card (I hope they have better security than most companies). I placed my order when our appetizers came out I had to grab silverware from another table since our "waiter" hadn't brought any. Finally the food came out. To my surprise there were two orders of the same dry carnitas tacos one with no onions the other with. I told the waiter we only ordered the one order of tacos with my sandwich and daughters kids meal. He replied " you must of ordered two when you wrote in the special instructions no onions" instead of offering to remove the item he just stared at me like it was my fault. (Guess I missed my training day) instead of arguing I just said ok then proceeded to eat steakem style Philly with cold fries. The waiter was lucky in my younger years I worked in the service industry and left a tip regardless of the service. The only plus side was we didn't have to wait for the check. Needless to say I won't be nor would I recommend it to anyone I know personally

Parched Pug is probably one of the more disappointing establishments my partner and I have visited in the past many years. When we walked in, there is a sign saying to wait to be seated, however no one is manning the host stand. We waited roughly 5 minutes before being noticed by staff in a nearly empty restaurant. The server that showed us to the dining area let us pick our table and explained how the ordering worked with the QR code and menu. The problems really began once we ordered and received our food. We ordered the pretzel flight, nachos, garlic fries, sweet potato fries, mac and cheese, and the fish and chips. The pretzel flight came with the parmesan, regular salted and cinnamon sugar pretzels served with the beer cheese, doughnut glaze, and boursin cheese dips. The beer cheese dip was separated, gritty and tasted of skunked beer. The doughnut glaze was just that, sugary glaze with no other flavoring and the boursin cheese was okay. One bite of the beer cheese dip caused me to gag and luckily I did not throw up from the intense, foul flavor. Unfortunately, when the nachos were delivered, we realized it would be the same beer cheese served on the chips, which created a foul flavoring despite the other adds on the nachos. The garlic fries and sweet potato fries were just fine- well fried and as advertised, though a little greasy. My partner received the fish and chips, served with a charred lemon slice that was not cut for squeezing. Batter on the fish was bland with no seasoning, soggy and greasy. The fish itself was cooked just fine, but the breading was already soggy and soaked with grease when it hit the table. The mac and cheese sauce had split, was gritty and chunky with no hint of salt or flavor, even with bacon added to the dish. It was also served lukewarm when it arrived at the table. While they did take the nachos off the check, we are so underwhelmed by the entire meal we do not plan to return to this establishment. Service was essentially non-existent despite it being a nearly empty restaurant.

With a good selection of adult beverages and above average bar food, the parched pug is a great choice for hanging out. They have a wide variety of activities throughout the week and an extensive library of games to play. Our server was friendly and very helpful. We'll definitely go back again.

Much bigger restaurant than it looks when you first walk in. The food was very good and I liked the self serve beer option. There's a little bit of a learning curve with the ordering process, but its worth it.

We went for the Sunday brunch buffet. Very generic brunch food. Not a huge selection. Scrambled eggs were sitting in a steam table and were sitting in water. Very unappealing. Carving station had some kind of beef that was inedible. It could not be cut! The ham was all dried out. All in all, just not good, not worth the money. No coffee on the table, we had to go up to the buffet for every refill of coffee. No butter or syrup out. We had to ask for it more than once. Clearly, a Sunday brunch buffet is not their forte.

Such a cute and fun bar. Love the tap wall and Thursday night bingo! Wasn't crowded when we went so easy to find a seat.

Food is good (have to find items you like) but we are repeat customers for sure because of how nice the people are. Good ambiance also
