Look this place is absolutely amazing. Cheap great food . Service is absolutely amazing such beautiful and respectful ladies.People need to eat hear and keep these places open at all cost .
Food has been solid each time I have visited. The price is very fair. The Hrs are limited and I wish they had homemade pie! It would fit right in here

A perfect picture of a timeless small town cozy diner. The food is top tier home cooking. The eggs were a tasty highlight and the Panwitch is highly recommended! We couldn’t have asked for better quality food! We had only one menu but they got a QR code on the tables for the kids these days.
The service was also incredible. When my girlfriend and I walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly staff who regularly checked up on us. They really made us feel like we were family. They even wished us safe travels on our journey home as we headed out!
We didn’t get to meet Mama unfortunately :(

I can always tell whether a diner is going to be good when they bring you the coffee. Most places brew the coffee too weak. This place the coffee was good and strong. The 3 meat omelet I had was made with lots of meat (sausage, ham, and crispy bacon) and the eggs were perfectly cooked (not overcooked). The home fries were excellent as well. Not mushy or overcooked, and looked hand-cut and fresh.
Even better it was like 20 bucks for two people. That’s gotta be pre-Covid pricing. A lot of places we go to are 30-35 bucks for two people…. Just for breakfast! Last but not least the place is a little small and cramped but the other patrons were super friendly and everyone seems to know each other. The staff were all nice, too.

Best breakfast in Illinois. Service is fabulous, food is always hot. I prefer eggs, pancakes, oatmeal and mush. Everything is reasonably priced.

Amazing value. Basic breakfast food (they also have some lunch options). Staff is friendly. Location is an easy walk if you can’t park right in front of. Bathroom was clean, but very basic.

Friendly staff. Fast service. Awesome customer service. Prices were good. Fresh, home cooked style food. Would definitely go back.
Vegetarian options: They do offer stuff for this diet
Dietary restrictions: Pretty sure
Parking: There is free street parking but since Mama's Arcade Cafe is in an outlet strip it can be very hard to find a parking spot sometimes. I believe there is a big parking lot around the back that you can park in as well but not 100% sure on that.
Kid-friendliness: Probably not really young children.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
