“We stopped in on the way back to Springfield. I think we will make reasons to come to Lincoln just eat here. All of our food was absolutely amazing and the staff was very friendly. They have a in house hot sauce which is good but they do have tobasco! LolWill definitely be coming back.”

“They have a number of their own very good beers on tap supplemented by good beers from other breweries. They don't serve food so eat before you come or fill up with beer. Trivia ordinarily Wednesday night but I stopped by on a Sunday and played in a special trivia event. Great atmosphere and staff. I strongly recommend this place if you're near Lincoln”

“I am a HUGE fan of Mexican food. I lived in the San Diego area for many years. Mexican food was a part of daily life. Either made at home or in the plethora of restaurants that San Diego offered. So, now I live in Springfield and up until recently, it's been a struggle to find good Mexican food, that scratches that itch. Rio Grande, in Lincoln, will now be added to my short list of GREAT Mexican food restaurants. Our waiter, Steve was fantastic. I asked for his recommendations. Which he was happy to do. Our sodas were served in pitchers. How fantastic is that. The chicken Fajitas was tender, juicy and very flavorful. Back to Steve our waiter. He was hysterical. I tipped him $10.00 for the show alone.”

“I cannot say enough about Heidi and her staff. Friendly, kind, quick, and professional. From the minute we walked in and visited the spotless bathrooms, then stood in a quick moving line. When Heidi greeted us she had a big smile, answered my questions, and didn’t rush me. The service was fast- and unlike our other Culver’s in Chicago, they delivered it to our table!”

“I loved the pizza and the staff. The walls and ceiling are a bit grimy from cooking fumes, but the tables and food surfaces were very clean. I would absolutely eat here again. (When we asked for glasses of water, they gave us bottled water. I presumed the local tap water wasn't great.)”

“We've often had their delicious baked goods. This time we had the Quiche! So glad we did. It was so creamy & flavorful. Plenty of room near the coffee bar or in the attached room where they roast the beans. We love coffee houses & this one is special. It has a relaxing atmosphere, great baked goods & now we know how delicious their quiche is! Oh, and it's has very good coffee. It is well worth the 35 minutes it takes to drive here. “Blizzards amazing, service a little slow [ possibly training a new hire ] , atmosphere is walk or drive thru... had a car full with five kids and two adults so there was no sitting in the Drive-Thru figuring out what everybody wanted to walk up to the window snowing outside so atmosphere a little weak”

“I hadn't ever had Champs chicken until about a month ago. Their chicken is by far THE BEST I've ever had hands down. It's so crispy and the oil they fry the chicken in literally tastes like butter to me. I would highly recommend anyone that loves other competitors to try this, and then see where you stand. “Never been to this city ever. I travel a lot. My lil ranger hit some debris on the highway and my brake line got severed so I got stuck here for the night. Walked here from the motel 6, and oh my good God. This place was everything I needed to pick me back up on my feet. Taylor was bartending, and made my night. Im talking about pure positivity, a regular knows a mechanic and hes gonna help me tomorrow morning to get me back on the road. This place is a site for sore eyes. Thank you Taylor and your bar neighbors for being quality human beings. 100 out of 10 recommend. This place will bring you out of your sorrows without even trying. “Just got a donut at their new location and it tasted better than all the other Mel-O-Cream donuts I’ve had before! The store was very clean. They are now open until 7:00 every day of the week. The owner told us that if they are out of a specific kind of donut you like, you can ask them to make it in the back because they fill and ice all their donuts there. The owner also said they will be starting to brew different kinds of specialty coffee and make smoothies. He was very friendly and engaging in conversation. I don’t live in Lincoln so unfortunately I won’t be able to go super often, but I recommend this store to anyone hankering for a fresh donut!!”

“I never really have high expectations from any business that caters to people that may not be regulars. I think of locations at airports, train stations or as in this case along the interstate, to be specific exit 126 on I55.I'm a semi regular, a few times a month. Not here enough that anyone would remember me. However, each visit has been friendly and efficient. I place my order on my phone from the parking lot, go inside and use there clean restroom, and then grab my coffee and go. BTW it's usually ready except for some busier times, but even still never a long wait. Can't think of anything that I'd change here.”
