“Went inside 7/20/26 around 5:15p to pick up my online order and there were two young gentleman working inside. There was what I assumed to be an elderly mother and her daughter ordering food. I was immediately greeted when I walked in and stood in line behind the two people to request my pick up. The way the workers interacted with these two ladies was so sweet and kind. the older lady was talking to them, asking about their recommendations etc. The workers genuinely seemed just so happy to be helping her and talking to her. As someone in my 30s it was so nice to see as it’s so rare these days. They gave me my food and thanked me. Ugh 10/10 I do recommend.”

“Don't know what the bad reviews are for, this McDonald's is run correctly. The food is to taste, the drinks are mixed perfectly, and it was fast, hot, and fresh. The holy trinity.

The employees seem to care about their job and their company.”

“Passing thru on a trip from WI to MO and it was the perfect stop. Didnt let all the closed roads from the marathon stop me from getting here. Cute decor, great service, hot mocha and the added cinnamon roll was yum! Not sure when I'll be passing thru again but would stop back in if I ever got the chance.”

“HUGE shout out to our amazing Fairlane Diner! Last night on our way home from a basketball game in Nokomis we decided to call and order Fairlane Diner for dinner. We did not realize they closed at 8pm and had dialed the phone at 7:55pm, the friendly woman answering the phone politely took our order and it was hot and fresh when we arrived at 8:15pm! Thanks so much!!”

“Seven of us rode our "scooters" lol from Pekin and all food choices were very good, like pulled pork and grilled chicken wrap to name a couple. Service and attentiveness was even better.”

“I had a host of family come visit from out of town. I ordered 50 piece wings from California Kitchen, it came with fries and 2 cans of pop. I was told 15 minutes for pick up and did not check the food prior to leaving. The chicken was fried very hard and wasn't good. I didn't call until the next morning and spoke to a manager. The manager was pleasant and very understanding. I was able to bring back the chicken from the previous day and recieved a full new 50 piece meal for my visiting family. He even asked if I wanted to keep the order that was messed up. Amazing customer service and the food was really good. I would always order from them, they really know how to treat their customers!! The new location is great too!.”

“I had been aware of Rico's since they opened but never had the opportunity to try one of their Pizzas. Now that I have, all I can say is, EXCELLENT PIZZA! Probably the best in the Springfield area! This is Pizza made by people that CARE about the Pizza they serve to you, and if that means anything to you, there will be no disappointment. If you love great Pizza, do yourself a favor and try one.”

“Been coming to Cook’s since I worked across the street at camp Lincoln years upon years ago. Went back today for the first time in several years. The quality, freshness, quick, and friendly service was EXACTLY how I remember. Their whole grain bread is to die for. I don’t get to this side of town as often as I used to, but it is absolutely worth stopping in. Definitely one of Springfield’s hidden gems!”

“I go there at least once a week and get a turkey bacon ranch on sweet bread . That man behind the counter gets an A plus for knowing how to make the best sub ever I could eat it everyday Never skimps on anything puts the other sub shops to shame in this area Thanks Monty’s keep up the great work young man”

“We have eaten here multiple times. We are from out of town and stop here anytime we're in town for softball games. The atmosphere is so old school Italian! The couple that owns the restaurant are very nice to speak with! I recommend the garlic bread and Italian cold cut sandwiches! They offer a good assortment of food to choose from including, subs, sandwiches, pizzas ,pastas and salads. We recommend to anyone that visits town.”

“10/10 service at this place. Jenny is a phenomenal bartender and always provides service with a smile. Highly recommend making this a must stop when going out in Springfield. Great prices, plenty of TVs, hot machines and all the good bar games you’d want. Regulars are friendly and make it that much better!”

“We got the special "217 Burger Week" pb&j burgers for dinner last night. We agreed that these were some of the MOST DELICIOUS burgers we'd ever eaten!!! Just amazing. We are really hoping you continue to serve these even after burger-week has come and gone. Highly recommend to anyone!”

“One of the only bars I go to in town anymore, from pool, karaoke, poker etc there's always something to do at some point of the week here. Patrons are great and have been coming for years but that doesn't mean new people aren't welcome in. If you're looking for a more regularly relaxed bar this is the one to check out!”
