Vegetarian options: You can get a sub with no meat on it for a little less money than any of the sandwiches with meat. Also, the veggie patty they have is excellent. I can't believe they don't advertise it. I think most people don't even know it's available.”

“Its love's, extremely overpriced but the best of every other truck stop. They have the best coffee in my opinion because you can make it as strong as you like. They have the best points system despite not being able to get free refills once you get to platinum. And best of all they don't charge us truckers for parking which is the best. As long as they keep parking free, theyll keep my business... Thanks for all you do!”

“Passing thru on a trip from WI to MO and it was the perfect stop. Didnt let all the closed roads from the marathon stop me from getting here. Cute decor, great service, hot mocha and the added cinnamon roll was yum! Not sure when I'll be passing thru again but would stop back in if I ever got the chance.”

“HUGE shout out to our amazing Fairlane Diner! Last night on our way home from a basketball game in Nokomis we decided to call and order Fairlane Diner for dinner. We did not realize they closed at 8pm and had dialed the phone at 7:55pm, the friendly woman answering the phone politely took our order and it was hot and fresh when we arrived at 8:15pm! “I had a host of family come visit from out of town. I ordered 50 piece wings from California Kitchen, it came with fries and 2 cans of pop. I was told 15 minutes for pick up and did not check the food prior to leaving. The chicken was fried very hard and wasn't good. I didn't call until the next morning and spoke to a manager. The manager was pleasant and very understanding. I was able to bring back the chicken from the previous day and recieved a full new 50 piece meal for my visiting family. He even asked if I wanted to keep the order that was messed up. Amazing customer service and the food was really good. I would always order from them, they really know how to treat their customers!! The new location is great too!.”

“Been coming to Cook’s since I worked across the street at camp Lincoln years upon years ago. Went back today for the first time in several years. The quality, freshness, quick, and friendly service was EXACTLY how I remember. Their whole grain bread is to die for. I don’t get to this side of town as often as I used to, but it is absolutely worth stopping in. Definitely one of Springfield’s hidden gems!”

This is Pizza made by people that CARE about the Pizza they serve to you, and if that means anything to you, there will be no disappointment. If you love great Pizza, do yourself a favor and try one.”

“We got the special "217 Burger Week" pb&j burgers for dinner last night. We agreed that these were some of the MOST DELICIOUS burgers we'd ever eaten!!! Just amazing. We are really hoping you continue to serve these even after burger-week has come and gone. Highly recommend to anyone!”

“A safe and happy environment to relax in. A deviation from typical north end stereotypes, this bar is friendly to outsiders. The bathrooms are clean and the bartenders are friendly. No issues getting served while not being a NEWT. Visited multiple times and enjoyed every time I’ve gone. If you’re new in town, visiting, or looking for something new I would highly recommend this bar.”

“They have bread and snack cakes. Quite a selection. They also have other food products. Freeze pops, gravy mix, spices, and sugary drinks. Nothing really nutritious or filling, but it all tastes pretty good.”
