“Stopped in to grab breakfast around 10 on a busy Saturday morning. The placed was packed and I took a seat at the counter. My server, Daylee, was prompt to greet me, get my drink and order, and all while smiling and serving many customers. Nice work, Daylee....I'll be back!”

“My wife and I have been to Cook's Spice Rack before a few times and have always been pleased. The food was great and the seating area was clean and bright. I had the sausage omelet with home fries and the jalapeno toast, while the jalapeno toast was good it wasn't worth the extra dollar as I didn't taste any spiciness from the jalapeno.My wife had the pulled pork sandwich, french fries with coleslaw, she said the pork was just a bit dry but still good.We certainly will be going back as you know you will get a great meal for a good price.”

“The food is good here. However, it is expensive in price. You can easily spend $ 60.00 on 2 kids' meals and 2 adult meals. So you better bring a stack of cash with you. The place is clean and has indoor and outdoor dining, drive-thru, and take-out.”

“If you want great food in a small diner atmosphere then Parkway Cafe is the best choice every time. There can be a wait sometimes early on a Saturday or Sunday morning but never long at all. We've never had anything less than stellar so I can't give a specific food recommendation.Parking: If the parking lot is full, just park next door at Aldi.”

“Very quirky little place. It's a small house converted to a restaurant. Not a lot of ambiance, but food is wonderful and always comes out piping hot. Reasonable prices, generous servings. Take out is an option, too. They don't accept credit cards just cash or personal checks.They don't sell alcoholic beverages, but you are allowed to bring your own.Parking lot is small. In pleasant weather there are, often, customers outside waiting for a table, but worth the wait.One of my favorite places in Springfield!”

“I've only ever really gone to this place for lunch, and most of the time It's very good. Unfortunately, they suffer from the same thing that every bar suffers from and that is a high turnover of their cooks. The one thing that doesn't appear to change is the quality of the food that they at least start cooking. They probably have one of the best hamburgers in Springfield. I would much rather go here than any fast food restaurant and pay almost the exact same amount. The bartenders have always been friendly and it's always clean. I would definitely recommend you check this place out if you're wanting a relatively fast tasty lunch at a good price.”
