“I had been aware of Rico's since they opened but never had the opportunity to try one of their Pizzas. Now that I have, all I can say is, EXCELLENT PIZZA! Probably the best in the Springfield area! This is Pizza made by people that CARE about the Pizza they serve to you, and if that means anything to you, there will be no disappointment. If you love great Pizza, do yourself a favor and try one.”

We did not realize they closed at 8pm and had dialed the phone at 7:55pm, the friendly woman answering the phone politely took our order and it was hot and fresh when we arrived at 8:15pm! The child’s personal behavior should not be implicated in the restaurant’s evaluation because of this. Afterwards, the child was not allowed to approach the credit card machine. Please give the restaurant another chance. , It is the child’s parents’ default that this happened.”

“I can honestly say Vele is the best fine dining experience I’ve ever had. The service, the food, everything is consistently incredible every single time we go. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but it is so worth it. I’ve never had a bad meal here, and I’ve never had anything less than amazing service. Every dish I’ve tried has been absolutely divine. The Filet Mignon is my favorite and is 10/10 every single time. I celebrated a friend’s birthday there last night, and it was just another perfect experience. We had Shane as our waiter (again!), and he is always fantastic, attentive, fun, and truly great at what he does. I actually worked with him years ago at another restaurant, and he’s just as wonderful outside of the restaurant as he is there. Vele is lucky to have him, and I feel lucky to have a place like this to keep coming back to.”

The complex flavors from the teas and pastries are an exceptional journey for the taste buds! Monica is super friendly!”

“My family and I have eaten here at least twice and both times the food has been amazing! Recently, I really enjoyed the pumpkin chipotle soup and veggie open faced sandwich ( I can’t remember the official name). We also got three deserts and all were amazing! I’ve also bought delicious tea from her and appreciate the expert help picking it out! I highly recommend eating here!”

The restaurant smells so amazing when you walk in and you are greeted always with a smile and everyone is so pleasant. Highly recommend. “Passing thru on a trip from WI to MO and it was the perfect stop. Didnt let all the closed roads from the marathon stop me from getting here. Cute decor, great service, hot mocha and the added cinnamon roll was yum! Not sure when I'll be passing thru again but would stop back in if I ever got the chance.”
