“Fun local ice cream and food stop. Lots of variety including the hard to find "Monkey Tail," a frozen chocolate covered banana. They lost a star only because the homemade coney dog sauce just wasn't very good in my opinion. Won't stop me from trying other menu items though!”

The next time you’re around Mount Pulaski you need to get in there and just prepare to relax.Parking: There’s quite a bit of parking, but you better get there quick. The bar can get so busy that the parking lot can get full. You may have to park quite ways away. But if the parking lot and parking areas are full, that 1/4 of block walk is absolutely worth it.Wheelchair accessibility: The front entrance is very wheelchair accessible. Plenty of handicap parking area.”

“Pizza is great, one of our family favorites! Salads are simple but also fresh and tasty. Prices are reasonable. Service is sometimes slow (often there is only one server who also has to bus tables) and food prep always seems slow. If you go with plenty of time, the food is worth the wait.”

“This is such a cute nostalgic restaurant. I went with a couple of friends and one of them just had a baby. The reason we stopped was he was being fussy and didn't want to be in this car seat anymore. So we stopped and we're pleasantly surprised with delicious food and plenty of it. “We've often had their delicious baked goods. This time we had the Quiche! So glad we did. It was so creamy & flavorful. Plenty of room near the coffee bar or in the attached room where they roast the beans. We love coffee houses & this one is special. It has a relaxing atmosphere, great baked goods & now we know how delicious their quiche is! Oh, and it's has very good coffee. It is well worth the 35 minutes it takes to drive here. The environment was great, and the staff matched the environment. I loved the sandwich and the potato salad. I'm picky about my coconut pie, so I'm not going to hold that against them. “They have a number of their own very good beers on tap supplemented by good beers from other breweries. They don't serve food so eat before you come or fill up with beer. Trivia ordinarily Wednesday night but I stopped by on a Sunday and played in a special trivia event. Great atmosphere and staff. I strongly recommend this place if you're near Lincoln”

“I hadn't ever had Champs chicken until about a month ago. Their chicken is by far THE BEST I've ever had hands down. It's so crispy and the oil they fry the chicken in literally tastes like butter to me. I would highly recommend anyone that loves other competitors to try this, and then see where you stand. “Amazing food with great service doesn’t cover it. The night started with accidentally locking keys in car, then it began to rain and as we walked to back door by mistake to enter for dinner, bad start to the night. That is when we met Nick, he brought us in through kitchen to get out of the rain, introduced us to kitchen staff as we walked through and welcomed us to the restaurant while he did it. He showed us to Micro brew across the garden and told us to get a drink and he would work it out with hostess to hold our table. On the way back to kitchen Nick heard I locked keys in car and immediately call a friend and in the rain, his friend John unlocked my car in minutes. All this happened within 15 minutes so by the time I sat down I was already impressed. My wife ordered Villa casserole and I ordered Prime Rib with the Onion soup - Soup was great, hot and gooey cheeses with great flavor but when our plates came out I was amazed. My wife’s casserole was beautiful and on a huge platter & she was blown away by how wonderful it tasted. My prime rib was enormous, great garlic flavor and great tasting. In the end the food was as impressive as Nick. Funniest thing of all is that we didn’t learn Nick was owner until later. Thanks to Nick & staff for a great night! We will gladly make to 50 minute drive again & again to eat at Guzzardo’s. Great food & Great people is so rare anymore but you get both here.”

“Just got a donut at their new location and it tasted better than all the other Mel-O-Cream donuts I’ve had before! The store was very clean. They are now open until 7:00 every day of the week. The owner told us that if they are out of a specific kind of donut you like, you can ask them to make it in the back because they fill and ice all their donuts there. The owner also said they will be starting to brew different kinds of specialty coffee and make smoothies. He was very friendly and engaging in conversation. I don’t live in Lincoln so unfortunately I won’t be able to go super often, but I recommend this store to anyone hankering for a fresh donut!!”
