Such a cute place with friendly service and delicious food. We had a party of 8, and every single item we ordered from soup to salads and sandwiches to desserts were all so good. Highly recommend!

My Mom’s favorite place in Lincoln for lunch! The food and desserts are to die for!! Took her to lunch this past Monday and left with three different kinds of desserts. We highly recommend stopping in Deep Roots Bakery & Cafe!!

Hi. My husband and I went today for the first time. I told the lady at the register that we have never been here before. I asked her if there were any meals you could get and she showed me the lunch specials which are 2 on the menu. She rang up 1 of the meal deals with a chicken salad sandwhich which I never said. I asked her for a chicken buffalo sandwhich meal. She then said would you like a soup? with me not thinking it would be extra then I paid. When I saw the receipt it was supposed to be $10.00 She charged me $20.00. I then said this should not be this much and she said sorry you used a card and the guy who does refunds isn't here. I asked her to fix it by putting a sandwich on there I would actually eat. My husband didn't order anything. She said you ordered the soup on there which costs 3 something and you got a full sandwhich. I thought the soup would come with the meal. Then she rang in the stuff that would substitute the meal sandwhich deal that needed fixed. She then started to charge me for a 3rd meal. I said no cant you just put a sandwhich that I want other than the chicken salad sandwich? She charged me double then tried to charge me triple! Thats insane! The food was good but it makes me not want to ever go back with getting charged extra! So yeah still didn't get my money back.

We had no plans for Lincoln and saw this cafe along our downtown walk. We were thrilled with our find. It was quite busy, yet the staff was extremely quick and orderly. You get a number when you order and they bring the food to your table. We tried the Cubano which was quite impressive as we have experienced the best of the FL Cuban restaurants over the many years. For dessert we tried the Scotcheroo and it was top notch! What a nice lunch.

Great little bakery. I didn't dine in but I got a few pieces of cake and brownies to go. Staff was so nice and quick. If you're in Lincoln you should give them a try

In town on business and was looking for something different. I had a sandwich on their homemade bread, potato salad, and a piece of pie. The environment was great, and the staff matched the environment. I loved the sandwich and the potato salad. I'm picky about my coconut pie, so I'm not going to hold that against them. I will definitely return.
