The restaurant is fantastic, authentic Italian. My friend and I mistakenly tried to enter from the back parking lot and we were greeted warmly, led through the kitchen, and upstairs to the dining room. The feel of the place is cozy and family friendly. The food is reasonably priced, with a solid variety of favorites, and delicious. The arcade it's in is directly across from Logan County Courthouse.

My husband & I am from Springfield,Il & can’t wait to come back. I had the lasagna. The best I have had anyplace. My husband had the Italian. sausage with peppers & noodles & a side of meatballs. His was delicious as well. We ate on the patio & had the nicest waitress. She was very knowledgeable, attentive & friendly. We can’t wait to come back to Lincoln & eat again!!!

Waitress brought our meals and never returned! I have never been to an Italian restaurant that dud not provide parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. The special was a Horseshoe. Worst horseshoe I have ever had. The cheese sauce was cold and tasted like Velveeta.
The service was exceptional. Our waitress went above and beyond taking care of us. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. We loved how all the staff made us feel welcome and special. I see many future family gatherings taking place at Gizzardo's.

The waitress that served us was nice, although when we asked about the prime rib special she mentioned the price was $14 and some odd change but after looking at the bill it was $65, the meat was bland and had no flavor, we also ordered mushrooms that were overly coated that you didn't taste the mushrooms. It wasn't something we expected.

Staff were wonderful!! Portion sizes were huge! We appreciated how friendly they were with our kids. I have food allergies and they were able to accommodate gluten free options for me. We were also on a tight timeline so we could catch the train home and our food was served promptly! We will definitely return!

Not impressed with the new menu. Food was not what it use to be. My meal was awful. At least they took it off my bill. Miss the salad bar and now you only get one side with your meal. Really, steak meal for $50+ and one side? Extremely over priced for what you get. The wait staff could tell we were not happy but were very accommodating.
