Got there for dinner, had to leave. Their electronic systems were down so they could not take orders. They need to have people there to do people things like they used to. Especially if their people replacements stop working.

Drove through, while traveling. Decided to go here instead of Culvers but ended up being a mistake. Very crappy service; curt and messed up order, even after repeating it 3 times. They don't take $100 bills and weren't able to take credit card (told system down). I'm not sure why it's so hard to find people to work these service jobs, but it's really getting noticeable. The food was passable. No stranger to this franchise. Not one of their better ones.

All the staff are very rude including managers. We waited 20mins to get our food and it came out cold. We ordered a milkshake with the meal and that came out 15mins later. Worst Steak ‘n Shake I’ve been too. They don’t even deserve one star🤮

Horrible experience, my Frisco sandwich was not toasted at all. I asked the gentleman to toast it, and as he walked away, he said several cuss words that other customers heard including me I asked for the manager Trenton and he could not even give us a refund what a horrible experience .

Quality has gone extremely downhill from how Steak and Shake used to be. The past several times I have gotten food from there something has been made incorrectly or forgotten, and it takes forever. When I try to resolve the issues with my order, they either don’t answer the phone or are rude to interact with in store.

They have heavily automated this place and it has dropped the quality to zero. Scanning barcodes to get a fountain soda refill, no staff availble to fix incorrect orders, refills not working, etc. I would not come back.

Let me start. I ordered extra crispy fries. I got raw French fries and uh, I took it back. She smashed him out of my hand they gave me the exact same stuff. The burger was undercooked, no flavor at all, and it wasn't what I ordered. The guy got an attitude and refuse to fix it. They need to shut this location down and boom. Hire all new staff, it's connected to a truck stop. The people in the truck stop saying it has been bad for years. It is not even worth doing. Are you eating there and they're locals and say they would never eat there? It's that bad and his staff all have attitudes. And like some of the comments on here, stick of shake, used to be a great place to go to this one is the worst.I've ever seen in my life 07/2/2025 stay away

Usually when we go to Steak N’ Shake (not this location) everything is usually fresh , the fries and the patty tasted like they’ve been sitting out for a while.. we did go through drive thru so maybe sitting inside would be better 🤷🏻♀️
