Waited in drive thru. Placed order almost 10 minutes to get. Drove off and was wrong bag! Turned around went inside and waited again. Handed bag that was supposed to have fries and 20 nuggets. No had 2 burgers. She handed me the "correct bag" and apologized. Got in car and guess what? Still wrong order 🤬. Will not go back there again!

Came around 2:30pm on a Saturday as we were passing through town and opted to dine in. Order took over 30 minutes to be ready, sandwiches weren’t even hot.

Ordered a baconator and baked potato. The hamburger meat wasn’t fully cooked, it was like they pulled it off of the grill way too early and was still red/pink on the exterior of the meat. And the baked potato’s inside was dark brown as if it had been sitting in a warmer all day.

So, there we were, en route to Bloomington, with my stomach staging a full-on protest because I hadn’t eaten before we left Springfield. My wife, by gosh by golly, was not thrilled about this oversight, given that hangry isn't exactly her favorite travel companion.
But then—like a glorious, square-burger beacon—Wendy’s appeared in Lincoln, Illinois. "We’re stopping here," I announced, determined to turn the tide on our growling-stomach situation. I dashed inside while she braced for what she thought would be a highway detour disaster.
To her surprise, I was the only one in line, and within what felt like 45 seconds, I was back with a fresh, hot, made-to-order burger (kids’ style with just ketchup and mustard), crispy fries, and a soda. In under six minutes, we were back on the road, my hunger conquered, and my wife's doubt thoroughly silenced.
That burger? Freaking delicious. Fast-food magic, I tell you!

I've always thought Wendy's was a little bland. This one did not make me change my mind. I had a double bacon stacker. I did give them an extra star on atmosphere because they do have the new soda machines with what I believe has hundreds of flavors to choose from. And at the time of my visit all size drinks were only $1.

Never have seen or smelled such an awful chicken sandwich. Cold and old.

Nice people and an enjoyable dining room. The bathroom is usually clean but it only takes one person to destroy it. The amount of food you get for the price just shows that everyone is hurting.

Dining room closed 649am. Next to a truck stop
When I come through Lincoln sometimes we stopped at this Wendy's seems to be one of the better ones but not perfect food is hot seems fresh. Only problem I ever have with Wendy's is you serve a sandwich called the Baconator which sounds like a big bacon sandwich you put 6 1/2 slices on which is three pieces of bacon on a combo that's $14. Come on Wendy step up your game it is called the Baconator

Mixed review on this visit to Wendy's unfortunately. I stopped in for a family sized chili and a large drink on the way home during a dinner rush, and they were really steady inside and drive through. I ordered inside got my drink and grabbed a seat where I could hear the name's being called. I didn't think it would be long, they literally only had to scoop chili into a small bucket. I waited until every order was apparently filled, maybe 20 minutes and I went to talk to the expeditor. I asked if they didn't have enough chili to fill my order or what, I thought maybe they had to make more. He said he had plenty for a family order. I asked where my order was. He scrolled back a few pages and said someone cleared my order off the screen. So he filled my order with a sincere apology and an extra bowl of chili. The drink was good, refilled. Chili hit the spot on a cool night. Staff was nice, but made mistakes that made my experience negative.

We ordered two breakfast baconators, get up to the window, they gave us two burritos. Eventually got a refund, and they made our sandwiches. Took them out to eat, and one came with a long dark hair. If I could upload a picture I would. Both sandwiches were thrown away.
