Typically I give this place all 5 stars but had to only give 4 stars for the service. The place was busy as usual, but one meal did not come until 20 mins after everyone else was done eating. They kept saying another 5 mins. Don't get me wrong the sushi is great and I will be coming back, but it would have nice if they offered us a discount or a free dessert.
Excellent, and fresh food! The best! My friend and I both loved our selections for lunch. Our sever was adorable and waited patiently as my friend and I talked since we hadn't seen each other in awhile. We will definitely return!
The hostess process needs to be improved. We had a reservation and waited an hour ... they marked us as “seated” when we weren't. Then kept skipping over parties if 2-3 to seat larger groups. It was chaos and they were not showing any empathy for the customers waiting.

It was an extremely busy night, and the food took a little bit longer than usual but our waiter was fabulous. He was very attentive and helped us choose some great dishes. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Best sushi around.!!

Simply EXCELLENT! The food, the creativity of how the food is being served, the service and ambiance make this place my preferred venue for Sushi/ Japanese food. I will be definitely back!

This place is truly a gem! t looks ordinary from the outside, but once inside, it is an elegant, beautifully decorated and cozy restaurant. The menu is quite extensive. My lady and I tried several items on the menu and were thrilled with both the presentation and the quality of the food. Our server, Reese, was so exceptional, it was hard to believe that she was still a senior in high school ! Absolutely impecable service and attention to our requests. (This, we believe, bodes well about excellent management and quality training.) We were visited by the BarMaster who recommended an extraordinary specialty cocktail, The PearTree. We were also visited by the restaurant manager who was exceptionally friendly and an amazing host. If you are a fan of sushi, a foodie and a culinarian, you will be absolutely blown away with the creations of the master chefs that call this place home. My lady and I eat at many nicer restaurants, and Starfish Sushi has now become one our favorite "go-to" locations. Definitely put this one on your list for an exceptional night of magnificent cuisine. And, BTW, this is a very reasonably priced restaurant.

As usual, Starfish Sushi was absolutely excellent! Sara, our server, was perfect. She was very attentive and anticipated our every need. We were greeted with a tasty amuse-bouche and then had some wine and saki. After that we ordered some edamame along with what they call the “Shooter Flight“ (You must try this. It's simply incredible). Finally, we had a number of different Signature Maki rolls, which were all out of this world. We have been to Starfish Sushi a few times I before and we will definitely be back.
Solid all around. Fresh sushi. Interesting tuna tacos and off menu items. Imaginative presentation of dishes and drinks. Busy & slow but friendly service. Good date spot. Will be back.
