Dairy Star Ice Cream of Lincolnwood

I can’t tell you the last time I had a vegan chocolate shell on a vegan cone while also having a vegan peanut brittle crunch blast sort of thing. Overwhelmed with the choices they had a whole vegan menu. This place is awesome.

This sad lump of Frozen Yogurt (icy btw) was $8. No prices on the menu, no mention it'd be $8 for a SMALL frozen yogurt.
I got a small ice cream too. I should have taken a side-by-side because that was much bigger.

Can not recommend a place like this.

Oh, reading reviews it turns out this is the Vegan soft serve. Explains the price, I ASKED FOR FROZEN YOGURT. My review stands, terrible shady service.

Basic flavors and overpriced. Line went very fast so kudos for that!

The price for non-dairy (vegan) soft serve is not posted on the main menu (rather, it's on a clipboard the staff will pull out and show you). The upcharge on a small dipped cone was not justified ($8.something instead of $5.something), and to add insult to injury, the chocolate vanilla swirl was completely flavorless 😩

Must be good. Always a long line and wait. Never got a chance to try. Too busy and too many personalities while waiting in line. Great ice cream is not worth the aggreviation and raised emotions.

Our family loves Dairy Star — it’s a local favorite! The ice cream is fantastic, the toppings are bountiful, customer service is always with a smile, and the prices are great! The kids and I come at LEAST 1-2x a week in the summer!

Parking: Parking can be a challenge on super busy nights, so you might end up having to walk up the block!
