“My favorite lunch spot in the city. No comparison! I dream about the lentil soup, IYKYK. Falafel is perfect, shawarma with the toum is outstanding. Bring cash, don’t expect a seat because it gets busy and enjoy! It doesn’t get better than this.“

“GO TO SUDA’S!!! This was the best falafel and baklava I’ve ever had. Miriam, our server was so knowledgeable about the menu and so accommodating — multiple things were sent to us on the house and after we tried the Arak “milk of lions” and didn’t like it due to its strong liquors taste she was quick to taking it off of our bill and was very receptive of the feedback. You have to try the labneh spreads and beetroot mutabbal too! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who is Suda‘s daughter and came to find out that every recipe on the menu is her mom‘s very own. You can taste the love in every bite. The only constructive feedback I have is I wish I came here sooner. 11/10 RECOMMEND SUDA’S!“

“Simply genius elevated culinary experience. Every year for my birthday I try a different restaurant (all the way from the east coast to Michelin star restaurants in the bay area) and I have to say nothing comes close to what this restaurant has to offer. From the staff, to the mood and setting, to the flavors that wow your palate, stories woven with the creativity of the cuisine. What an outstanding and uplifting meal! If i could give more than 5 stars, I would.“

“My daughter who is living in Asia tracked down this place for me (well, actually she wanted to eat there vicariously)and it was a great find. She asked me how I would rate the food (1-10) and when I said 10, she was impressed since I am not a foodie. Food just doesn't do it for me well.. until this meal. It started with me picking up the meal. The family who own this gem are so generous, so welcoming that I stayed talking to them longer than my dogs, who were waiting outside, would have liked. When I arrived home, the lentil soup was stilling piping hot and wow, so delicious. I am not a lentil soup, or even soup, person but I am definitely returning for more. The sauteed spinach with bulgar was well-yeah, I would definitely eat bulgar all the time if it tasted like this. As it turns out, there was so much food that I have a second meal. Thank you for this great meal and the welcoming. I, and people I know, will be there.“

“Don't let the location of this restaurant fool you because they make some pretty good Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food. It's located at the corner of Montrose and Clark in a strip mall. I started off my trying some of their drinks. I tried their mint lemonade and the mango drink. I really loved the mint lemonade. It's not a flavor that I think would go together, but it really worked. The mango drink was good, and for those who like it a bit on the sweeter side hits is the drink for you. I also enjoyed their food. Out of all of the dishes I tried, I loved the kabob combination plate the most. You get four types types of kabob, kafta, chicken, steak and chicken shawarma. The rice was fluffy and my favorite was the kafta kabob. The kafta kabob was juicy and delicious. Of the vegetarian dishes I tried, my favorite was the falafel. It was crispy and had a nice taste. Also, I liked there is plentiful free parking. Since it is located in strip mall, you have access to a large parking lot. This is always a plus in a city with many restrictions on street parking and expensive parking meters. Overall, if you want good Middle Eastern or Mediterranean food this is a must visit.“
