I’ve been wanting to give them a trying for sometime now. So over the weekend I finally made it. And I must say as I entered the restaurant I was expecting a more colorful atmosphere, it was not. More on the dark side. When the waitress came to the table she was very polite and full of energy which was pleasant, tried to order a few different appetizers but she said we are currently out at the moment so that was a bit disappointing. What a happy accident it was finding this place! Holy CRAP this food was delicious in every sense of the word. We had coconut shrimp as an appetizer and then the salmon plate for an entree. I'm normally not a desert person, but we were having such a good time and the food was so delicious, we decided to get both desert options and I ate the whole plate. The staff were so friendly and fun and the music was perfect. Highly recommend.
This was my first time experiencing carribean food. I tried very unique dishes such as the Oxtail plate, lobster chowder and the Jerk chicken plate. The lobster chowder was a little bit too salty even though I like spicy and salty food. The beef patty was fresh and nicely seasoned. The veggies were perfectly grilled. If you want to introduce your taste buds to something new and flavorful, go to this restaurant.
