Food was excellent. Steak n shake has gone downhill at other locations or closed. Glad to see there's still good ones out there. Service received a three star since you order from a kiosk. A kiosk that still asks for a tip..., even though no one took my order at the counter or at my table. Nor delivered the food to the table but call your name to pickup. Besides that, the food was excellent and the restaurant seemed clean.

Wish I could put 0 stars they are very unprofessional!!! I am a truck driver and of course they had there dining area closed they made me walk in the drive thru and order my food on a cold day and wasted my whole break I won’t be back here ever again .

Drive thru ordered Chili Mac and Single Steakburger. They told me they were out of Chili Mac. 5:15 pm on a Saturday. So, had just a burger which was full of gristle and bone chips. What a joke SNS has become.

Hadn’t been there in a while, was extremely disappointed in the new kiosk self-serve thing. Steak and Shake isn’t cheap so I shouldn’t have to wait on myself, but I did and even left a tip.. The place was maybe 25% capacity and I sat there for 45 minutes watching people that arrived after I did get their food. After 45 minutes I handed my receipt to an employee and told them I wasn’t waiting any longer… she said thanks, come again. No refund, not explanation. I will never step foot into a Steak and Shake again. Freddie’s is better anyway.

I did not eat here as when I walked in I stood there at the counter for 10 minutes before someone talked to me and then they told me you have to order through the kiosk. If you can't have a real person serve me I don't want to eat here. I walked out. I went across the street to the Huddle House where I got great service and paid about the same.
It's a very nice store but it is a traditional burger place all self service. So nothing memorable

Placed a online order - went thru drive up to pick it up - young girl with blonde hair comes out telling me since their screens where full her manager told me I had to come in to get it - like im gonna waste my time to come inside for you? Just do your job as you get paid! Stop being a rude manager!
