“Great food and Great service!”

“We stopped in on Sunday 3/16/2025 on way home from Springfield. I saw tablecloths and cloth napkins thought we would be out of place. Far from it. From the hostess, to waitress, bus boys made everyone feel so welcome. I wish I could remember our waitresses name, she was so good, friendly, knowledgeable. Fried chicken was awesome, as was my husband's chicken fried steak, soup and salad bar. So to the very pretty young lady with the long wavy hair thank you for making us feel so welcome, making fresh coffee and never letting cup get empty. We would drive the 100 miles from home again to eat here. From the old biker with beard and wife with the crutch.”

“My wife, 2 kids, and I walked in 15 minutes before closing (not realizing they closed so soon) and they treated us great! I would 100% would recommend eating here. The service was great, the food was delicious, and I will definitely be back. My 6 year old said her strawberry pancakes were awesome and she wants to eat here again, so next time I’m through this way, we will be stopping.”

Wheelchair accessibility: You can easily get a wheelchair in the front main door and once your in its all new smooth floors one level.”

“We ate at 7 o-clock on Saturday night, the place was almost full. Although not on the menu, I asked for Egg Fu Yung. My wife went for the buffet. By the time she had eaten her first plate full, my order came (that's quick service). The waitress suggested that I needed a fork and quickly got me one. My order contained 2 egg patties, not the common 2 most Chinese restaurants offer. And these were each twice the size of any I have ever eaten! And, they were the best Egg Fu Yung I have ever eaten- including the ones I cook at home! I had to take one patty home and the waitress gave me a complementary extra gravy. Best food- best amount- best prices!”

“Great place to go, and very accommodating on orders. If you dont see exactly what you want, just ask and they can come up with something really close. Orchids in the margaritas, which were wonderful.”

“The food is good from the salad bar to the pizza bar and the pastas they put out are all tasty. The pizza was slightly greasy but not too bad to really complain about. Didn't try the ice cream, full from dinner. They have counter service and help yourself to the food bars and someone comes around and grabs empty plates. The dining room is good sized and accompanied our large group comfortably. We drive in from Fairview Heights, IL to meet with my wives schoolmates occasionally and they always meet here. It's been their go to pizza joint since the late 70's or early 80's.”

“Love it there the employees are very nice It's a fun place to go and enjoy the company of others. Also I love to go there to play slots and win...Gives us something to do and for all the regulars that come in on a daily basis we are like family...kickin 66 is a fun spot to be in and always love to see everyone smiling faces. SO COME ON OUT to kickin 66 u will enjoy playing slots or sitting at the bar and mingle..”

“Really a spectacular experience! The coffee and breakfast sandwich were fantastic, the service was amazingly fast, and the best part is is that everyone behind the counter used my name after they knew it. A very nice personal touch in a historic building in a historical downtown. If you're passing through the area make sure to stop, you won't be disappointed!”

“I am a storm chaser and coming back from northern Illinois on my way home to TN, it happened to be my birthday, I wish I could give the name of my barista, but she was absolutely amazing, and truly made me feel special with telling me happy birthday and the things she wrote on my cup! It was very early and I was exhausted after 30 hours+ of driving, and she really brightened and made my day wonderful! Whenever I’m in Litchfield IL again, I know where I’m stopping for coffee! Ignore the bad photo it was rainy and 6am so still dark out!”

“Potato cakes are permanently back on the menu 😋 also fish sandwiches are on the menu probably for a limited time, but they are delicious and should be an everyday item as well. Nice selection of other sandwiches as well. I've always had friendly and prompt service, and it's one of the few places I order drive through, and all the items are in the bag and correct.”
