“This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. We walked in and were not greeted. Not a big deal. I ordered a pinot noir and it tasted like straight vinegar. I let the server know and asked for a busch light instead. We both ordered the tbone special for the night and was told it was $24. Mine was overcooked and my husbands was undercooked while both ordered medium. Also the tbones were missing the filet side of the steaks completely. They were definitely not the 16 ounces as advertised. I also ordered marsala sauce for my steak and didnt get it. My husband substituted fries for his salad and when we got the bill his fries were $7.75 additional. They charged us for the bad wine. The special was actually $33 each. When I mentioned it when getting the bill she said the owner said to leave the wine on the bill and the prices must have gone up. Terribly disappointed and will never go back.”

“We stopped in on Sunday 3/16/2025 on way home from Springfield. I saw tablecloths and cloth napkins thought we would be out of place. Far from it. From the hostess, to waitress, bus boys made everyone feel so welcome. I wish I could remember our waitresses name, she was so good, friendly, knowledgeable. Fried chicken was awesome, as was my husband's chicken fried steak, soup and salad bar. So to the very pretty young lady with the long wavy hair thank you for making us feel so welcome, making fresh coffee and never letting cup get empty. We would drive the 100 miles from home again to eat here. From the old biker with beard and wife with the crutch.”

“A cute cafe to sit down and catch up with some friends or on some work.

I noticed that they use Kaldi’s coffee which I've tried many times before and genuinely enjoyed.

The drinks were made pretty fast. They are bit too sweet for me as I do enjoy the bold flavour of the coffee more than flavour shots/syrups.

I did enjoy this visit in particular because of how warm and welcoming the staff was. They were very kind to explain to us the flavour profiles of their drinks, and they even suggested certain areas of the shop for me to take pictures of.

Overall, I would come back to try their other drinks and hopefully they can make it less sweet for me.”

“Stopped for breakfast on our Route 66 excursion. A bakery with many coffee and tea drinks, we ordered eggs and toast. Order at the counter, they bring it to your table when ready. There is also a drive through. A few vintage photos of the bakery too.”

“We ate at 7 o-clock on Saturday night, the place was almost full. Although not on the menu, I asked for Egg Fu Yung. My wife went for the buffet. By the time she had eaten her first plate full, my order came (that's quick service). The waitress suggested that I needed a fork and quickly got me one. My order contained 2 egg patties, not the common 2 most Chinese restaurants offer. And these were each twice the size of any I have ever eaten! And, they were the best Egg Fu Yung I have ever eaten- including the ones I cook at home! I had to take one patty home and the waitress gave me a complementary extra gravy. Best food- best amount- best prices!”

“I had the pleasure of riding my motorcycle over to Morrisonville to watch an open mic memorial event. Great little venue, very cool decor, mixed with some historical photos of the town. Enjoyed some great homemade food and wonderful musicians.”

“I was nervous to try this place after recent the bad reviews, but I am glad I at least tried it. Went for the lunch buffet and it was busy. The salad bar was good (as long as you don't mind just iceberg for lettuce) but I was surprised that the only hot food was pizza- no pasta, bread sticks, cheese bread, etc. They eventually put out some sweet desert bread stick things, but never anything savory to go with the pizza.

I've never been to a pizza buffet that didn't at least have breadsticks. I had read really good things about the pasta, so that too was disappointing. It seems like the place isn't what it used to be, but still a decent lunch option if you want salad.

If you aren't a salad fan, you are probably better off just ordering a pizza.

As of 7/6/26, I paid $10.95 for the Mon/Wed/Thurs lunch buffet, $2 for drink. I believe it was $14.99 for dinner and lunch the other days (I forgot to take a pic of the sign, so don't quote me on that.”
