Honey Field Pancake House & Restaurant

The only reason this amazing place did not gey 5 stars across the board is because I believe that it could use a little updating. The dated look is nice and cozy, but slight updating to the booths or some wall updates, would put this place over the top. It is already one of the greatest breakfast places to go, just a little cosmetic change might give it that final push to be the best!

Came here on a Sunday close to 2pm. The staff were very friendly and patient! There were so many food options to choose from!! I got the biscuits and gravy and omg the biscuits were delicious and very buttery!!! If I had more space I would've ordered for food! The food came out fairly quickly after ordering. I'd definitely love to come back here to try other items on the menu!!

Stopped on our way to the race track. We had breakfast, the Elvis pancakes and the corn beef omelet. Everything was very delicious and plentiful.

The food was excellent, and I have no complaints regarding the quality. The seating area does feel somewhat cramped, which is understandable given the effort to maximize tables.

However, I need to raise a serious concern regarding the service. One of the older waitresses (short, blonde, assigned to the tables by the glass window) was serving us soup while simultaneously engaging in a conversation with another table about her strong political opinions. While distracted, she held a small plate with a hot bowl of soup midair, directly in front of my toddler, without paying attention to the situation. I had to step in, guide her hand away from my child, and remind her to be careful before she placed the soup down, yet she continued her conversation with the other table throughout the incident. This created a serious safety hazard and reflects poorly on service standards.

Where do I even begin, I woke up in a jolly good mood ready to go out with my little posse of four and was in need of breakfast to fill our tummies, so we decided to go to honey feild, Everything was going good until we met the devil ( aka our server) she was very rude and with the up most disgust took our order when she came back she almost spilt all of our food onto the table but somehow with her devilish reflex’s she caught them, then after catching them she threw the food onto the table even tho there was no space, then our bacon was very burnt after we just asked for crispy, and to end it all after being rude and ruing our dinning experience she charged an automated 20%%%%% gratuity even tho our party wasn’t a group of 5 and never did she tell us she was giving herself her own tip.

i came in on Thursday morning with my small group of four, ready to enjoy a nice sit down meal, when all the sudden this heavy set blond woman (our server) completely ruined our whole experience. she was constantly looking over the counter staring at me and my group looking annoyed, she also threw the food into our hands while serving us, which almost cost me a piece of burnt bacon, which she up charged me six dollars for after implying it was included, she also was bragging about how she took off the coffee just to let you guys know, but then she added an automated 20% gratuity on our check (which was disclosed by her the menu nor were we a large group which is the standard for automated gratuity)

server was terrible. SHE ADDED A 20% GRATUITY FOR PARTY OF 4. walked over to the table, didn’t tell us her name, had a terrible attitude, and had us waiting on our coffee. finally brought our coffee over and tossed it on the table telling us to help ourselves. she asked my friend if he wanted bacon with his meal, not mentioning it was an up charge. bacon was charred, and 5.95 added to our bill. when she brought the food she just tossed the plate on the table, almost causing the food to fall off the plate. she then brought our check. added an automatic 20% gratuity. automated gratuity wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the restaurant. neither by our waitress or the menu. automated gratuity is for larger parties as well. not once have we ever been charged that in our multiple times of going there. WASTE OF MONEY
