Lock & Mule by Tangled Roots Brewing Company

We went here for my birthday dinner. We had the Chicken schnitzel and fish n chips. They were out of shrimp, so we couldn't try the beer battered citrus siracha shrimp and got the pretzels. They were also out of fries, so we had to substitute tots. The food was good and the pineapple upside-down drink I got was delicious.
The reasons I gave 4 stars was for the service. Our waiter took our drink order, then disappeared
Someone else brought our drinks and then water. He passed us a couple of times and 15 minutes later we flagged him down to order an appetizer. Someone else brought that. Again we had to get his attention to order our dinner, which someone else brought. Normally our server tells us specials or what they're out of. It was like pulling teeth to talk to him.He never stopped to ask if everything was good or we needed anything until we were almost done eating. He wasn't friendlty at all. We asked for a box and the check. He passed us a few times before he took that. I could understand if they were really busy, but it was a Sunday not too long before closing.
We probably won't go back.

The chicken Parmesan sandwich is amazing! My husband ate his chicken schnitzel and everybody’s leftovers. Very good.

Outside of the Cauliflower being more expensive that what was to be expected for how much you received I can't say enough good about Tangled Roots Lock and Mule location. Food is fantastic, beer is refreshing, Diego, our server, was top notch, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Will definitely spend a date night here again!

....might pass on the overpriced Cauliflower app though.

Rafa was behind the bar ( on his third day of training!) and did a fantastic job! Attentive, courteous and made us some tasty drinks. My husband and I were there at happy hour. What a deal and the food and drinks were delicious! Ya gotta go!!

We have been here several times and have never had a complaint. Tried the new chorizo burger tonight (minus the jalapeños because I’m a sissy) and it was amazing!! All staff has been amazing but tonight we had Diego for the first time, he was very personable and kind.

12 bucks for a pour of beer is insane lmfao. There are way, way, WAY, better breweries that sell better beer for 1/2th the cost. Whoever sets the prices at this is a bad person

I came to Lock & Mule tonight and had such a great experience! Our server Ari was absolutely fantastic — super friendly and on top of everything. The manager Courtney even stopped by to check on us, which was such a nice touch and made us feel really welcomed. Great food, great vibes, and amazing service. We’ll definitely be back again soon!
