Had my second meal at Mama Onesta's yesterday. The chicken marsala and tortellini Ashley are both delicious! Overall I give this restaurant a 4 star rating just because of the the atmosphere..... being a fairly small place with wooden floors, it is pretty loud inside, and difficult to have a conversation.

I tried out the chicken piccata... I think chefs think this dish needed to be heavy garlic. I couldn't even taste the lemony sauce at all. Pls someone inform the chef.

When out with a group of friends to this restaurant. I ordered Lobster Ravioli $29.95 and it was so salty and the ravioli was under cooked (to my taste) that I could not eat it. There were 5 raviolis (which I was told when I ordered it) but I could only eat 2 if I kept scrapping the very salty sauces off of it. I couldn't force myself to eat any more. One of the other people in our party said her pasta was also very salty. Another said his sauce on his fish was very salty but if he only ate the fish it was OK. I know people will say, "Why didn't you send it back?", and all I can say is I have heard horror stories about doing that. Also, it told the waitress about this and she apologized and would tell the chef, but offered nothing else. Also, be aware that they add 3.5% to your bill if you pay with a credit card.

Went there on a regular Sunday afternoon, no reservation. Tracy was our server. She was professional & asked if we have any questions about menu. She offered to bring more bread which we accepted. I ordered Veal Florentina & chicken Alfredo. We waited a bit for it but was worth it. Food arrived hot. My veal was quite salty but I don’t use salt in my kitchen at all so I am sure my taste buds are sensitive. Other pasta was rich in flavor. Try this local place. It has character!

I've heard the good reviews about Momma Onesta's for years. Why did it take me so long to come?? 1) make reservations 2) free valet parking was available on the Friday nite we went 3) great service 4) decent wine/cocktail list 5) the food! I had the penne with portobello mushrooms and sausage and it was delizioso! Sampled a cannoli for dessert. This is top notch and local! Noise level was a bit loud though.

I stopped here for lunch while working nearby based on Tripadvisor reviews. This restaurant lived up to its billing. It was charming, the food was delicious and the staff was friendly and welcoming - something I always note when dining alone. I would definitely eat here again.
My wife an I love this family owned jewel and have for several years. The time came for me to retire March 31st, and I wanted to host a get together for my family and coworkers. I contacted Frank to ask what they could do. He set us up in a separate dining room just for our group of about 28 people. Many of my guests had never been here before, some because they don't live locally, some just because they never knew about this wonderful restaurant. On the night of our gathering, every single guest in our group was very impressed with the food and ambience of our room. Our server was incredible and kept everyone well served. The food was plentiful and scrumptious. I cannot thank Frank enough for all his help in setting up and facilitating this event. If you have not been here yet, Momma Onesta's is a place you simply have to put on your night out list. The vibe is friendly and relaxed. They have a nice wine selection, and the food menu has something for everyone. Their red sauce is the best I have ever tasted. Don't overlook Momma Onesta's!

Eight extremely hungry men descended on Mamma Onesta’s following a round of golf on a late Sunday afternoon. The hospitality they extended to us was outstanding. They accommodated our large group and quieted our hunger with great food, wine and desert. Seriously we were a group to be reckoned with and Mama’s met the challenge. If you are near Canton this is a don’t miss place.

The food and service were quite excellent. We sat at the bar and received excellent service. The two bartenders went out of their way to make sure we found a great wine and got everything we needed. The gnocchi Gorgonzola was amazing. The sauce was excellently dialed in, cooked to perfection. The tortellini Ashley was also great. The rolls were delicious, served hot with garlic oil. Excellent across the board. Will definitely go back.
