Pretty sure they just microwaved food that had been sitting around for a while. Could barely cut through the pancakes or chew through the bacon. Was starving and didn't finish because it tasted so terrible. The eggs looked like a shoe sole painted yellow.

Great food with good prices. Staff was very good on our first visit here. Only recommendation would be the gravel lot is slippery for motorcycles especially with a passenger. Other than that, you can’t go wrong with this place.

Do not sleep on the homemade hot sauce. The salsa verde is hot but has a freshness that makes the flavor worth the spice. The salsa rojo is smokey and plenty hot. Both are made with fresh roasted peppers and have almost a pureed texture that make it a creamy consistency. It tastes good on the Mexican dishes or the classic American breakfast options.
First time here. We are new to the neighborhood. Just moved to Joliet which is only like 9 min from Normas diner. Excellent service! They were very welcoming. Cute place and very clean which I love and the prices are great!
