Great food, ambience and service! My only complaint is how early they close (8:30 on a Saturday!) we wanted to sit at the bar and have more drinks but didn't want to hold the staff up
We have been to Public Landing many times and always had a first rate experience. It has been awhile since we've dined there, ambiance is great our server was great but the food was just ok. My son fished two long hairs out of his stroganoff, so that generally turned us off. We won't be returning which is sad. The space is beautiful.
Always a great dining experience at Public Landing Restaurant. Took advantage of the Octoberfest menu. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was what you expect in a fine dining restaurant.
Loved everything about this restaurant, especially the comfort food options! My only complaint is the small parking lot, but there is plenty of parking within a short walk.
Went for our anniversary. The menu is interesting, and varied. We opted for steaks and they were great! Food came very fast! We will definitely be back!
We like the variety of the menu items from appetizers to sandwiches, salads and entrees. Cocktails are very good and the service is welcoming and efficient. Public Landing has specials depending on the day and also seasonal offerings. The food is generally very good.
Service was great as usual. The Octoberfest menu was a bit disappointing. Not a lot of flavor in the fish or the German Chocolate cake. The appetizers were the best part of the menu. I usually rave about the food, but not tonight. Although I will return because this was a rare disappointment.
We can count on the Public Landing for an excellent experience every time we choose to dine there. All aspects of our meal, the food itself, the staff and the environment in the restaurant are wonderful.
Oh, sitting outside on the patio at public Landing is one of my favorite experiences. We are lucky enough to get a beautiful night in late September. Our waitress was excellent, and the food was great.
The vegetables had no flavor. Garlic mash potatoes was missing garlic. Duck was very good. I tried the stretch the oranges sauce to give the broccoli flavor. Served Modelo in a can?

A really interesting, historic building. Food was good, service was good. We sat at the bar and met some lovely people. I would go there again.
The steak tasted like it was almost going bad. I asked for medium rare but it was definitely cooked medium. Probably for the best seeing as the meat might have been old. Please do better with storing your meat. I got the same meal as another guest I was with and portions were vastly different. Pretty bummed about my experience as I was super excited to eat there. Employees were very nice though.

I had a stir fry that was terrible. It was all mushy vegetables and reheated rice.I was treating friends, so I didn't say anything. But, another friend had the turkey dinner and was eating off another persons plate, so im thinking it wasn't good, either. The patio is darling to eat out. Im so embarrassed since I was treating. Plus, no bread and butter to start the meal!!!!????

Everything was amazing. The food was delicious our server Diane was exceptional. Honestly, she went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed offering amazing suggestions also, I got the beef stroganoff which was delicious and she even got me extra sauce. We love the atmosphere and our drinks were delicious as well. We will definitely be back.
