I honestly think the only reason this place has good reviews is because the people buying them aren’t Mexican. You could get much better tacos down the road for way less. The quality of the meat just isn’t good enough to justify the price. They had decent service and tortillas but that’s about it. I don’t recommend it.

Im not one to usually complain but these tacos weren’t worth what you pay at all. The quality of the meat sucked and the amount of food you get for the price is ridiculous. You can get much better at so many other places nearby. The only redeeming qualities were the service was quick and the tortillas were exactly what I look for. I think that’s the bare minimum. The only reason I’m giving it a two instead of a one is because they at least tried to imitate tacos. It wasn’t Taco Bell quality.

Best Tamales anywhere!! I always like the chips and beans for lunch, so I ordered a tamale today, and it is the best I’ve ever had! I grew up in the Southwest, so I thought I knew what tamales were supposed to taste like, but these are great. Good meat taste without overdone spice, great coating as well. I will be back!

Went based on a friend's recommendation. Totally worth the drive for tasty, meaty tacos. Salsa super flavorful! Asked for 14 plain (meat and cheese only) and 10 everything tacos, all tacos made correctly and quickly.
Ta Canijo in far west Joliet IL is a great place to eat. Fast friendly customer oriented service, with a smile. The Mexican food is awesome, Tacos, Burritos and more.
