I brought my sister in law here who is from Mexico City. She lives in Cozumel currently. The food here is AMAZING.
The lady that runs the register was super kind and answered all our questions. Then we proceeded to order up! I can’t wait to go back. Short rib tamales and chicken in mole tamales are my new favorite.
I live in Mexico and I have not found tamales as good as these ones in years!!! Next time I’m in town I’ll bring some with me!!! Delicious, great flavor, texture, and the champurrado 🥲 it reminded me of my mom.
I have had homemade tamales for years and these are by far the very very best pork tamales that I’ve ever eaten. Congratulations this place is fantastic.If you are ever in Lockport Illinois you need to stop here and have a tamale.
