Went in for lunch and the older woman behind the bar was covered in what appeared to be flour and other food came to serve us. She messed up our drink orders to start, then was rude when we tried mentioning it. Our food took a while which didn't make sense since it wasn't very busy. When we finally gave us our check it was over $50 for 3 burgers and fries.

Love the food. Has daily specials Sunday through Saturday 11am-8pm, check their FB page for each days special.
It is a bar and grill, so it can get noisy at times, but food is reasonably priced and made fresh.

If you look over my restaurant reviews, you'll notice a continuing search for good tenderloins. I'd heard quite sometime back that the Yellow Rose Saloon had a dandy fritter, so while passing through Lomax with a buddy, I jumped at the opportunity to eat lunch there after he brought it up. It was early afternoon when we arrived, finding only 1 customer in the place, along with the cook / bartender. I shared the rumor I'd heard with Danielle, (sp?), told her that I had to give it a try, and my buddy ordered one too. That tenderloin definitely makes my "Top 10", which is a great start. The overall size of the fritter was very nice, with good thickness as well. While I have had some giantic tenderloins, this one was a very good real big 'un. If I were to try to improve that sandwich in any way, I would leave the size of the tenderloin exactly as it is, and maybe play around with some seasoning in the breading. Personally, I thought the coating was a little flat in the taste department. Then again, I do not salt my food either. In the end, if you're a fan of a good tenderloin, I highly recommend you give the one at the Yellow Rose Saloon a try.
OMG get the pork tenderloin ( huge & Best I've ever had) or the chicken Livers, beers are very affordable and they have a full bar also, no smoking is allow we enjoyed our diner & evening with family, it is a bar , not children after 10
First this is a locals bar, so you will have the drunks who sit for hours drinking. The food is very simple bar food, fried!!! Mondays though is mexican night and they have some huge items you can order, I think it was a burrito, but I only seen it, I didn't order it. Does have a pool table.
