About Kebab Bey

Kebab Bey is a restaurant in Lombard that serves Mediterranean-style food. The food is described as delicious, fresh, flavorful, and in generous portions. The meat is well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and nicely grilled, and the skewers are perfectly flame-grilled, incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor, served alongside perfectly fluffy, fragrant saffron rice. The hummus was enjoyed, the french fries were surprisingly flavorful and all around decent, and the baba and flatbread were excellent. The rice, chicken, and meats were about the quality expected for a mediterranian style but arguably a step up. The restaurant is zabiha halal. The atmosphere is simple and clean, and the bathroom as well. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, with modern arches, hanging greenery, and warm lighting creating a beautiful, upscale atmosphere. The service is fast, attentive, and incredibly welcoming, and the restaurant didn’t charge crazy gratuity. The lunch specials are unbeatable for the price, and the quality is unmatched. Some customer service elements are lacking, especially given how pricey the food is: water should be served in a glass rather than plastic bottles, each person should get a knife, large serving spoons, forks, and tongs should come out with the platter style dishes, and for the family platter there should be a larger quantity of sauce. The complementary red sauce tasted bad, and the lack of fountain drinks was disappointing.

Amazing food and service shoutout to Athar for the amazing hospitality. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy his kabobs.
Food was delicious, though the complementary red sauce tasted bad. I would have appreciated having some sliced lemons and cucumber pieces instead. What I really think this restaurant needs to work on is the beverage options. I was very disappointed with the lack of fountain drinks.
Food was solid, some really enjoyed the hummus. The french fries were surprisingly flavorful and all around decent. The rice, chicken, and meats were about the quality you might expect for a mediterranian style but aruably a step up. The atmosphere is simple & clean, bathroom as well. I will be back.
This is zabiha halal
