Melt n Dip is a dessert spot in Lombard, situated in a cute plaza with lots of other shops around. The interior is huge, modern, and clean, with chocolate fountains that are a fun sight for children. It is family-friendly, with outdoor seating and patio seating outside, and it is super busy and packed inside. The dessert menu is huge, with tons of options to pick from. The gelato counter has so many incredible options, and the coffee prices also looked reasonable. The desserts are expensive but very rich and shareable. The triple-chocolate Belgian drizzled crepes and waffles are rich, warm, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the triple chocolate crêpe is a favorite. The Karak Chai is really good. A single scoop of gelato is a nice manageable size, and the Lotus gelato is very delicious and creamy, though it didn't quite match the taste of Biscoff cookies. The service is amazing, and the staff are super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The owner is genuinely humble and caring. The air freshener really needs to go, as the floral scent is SO strong and honestly a little overwhelming.
