As I am new Chicago want try something different this Mexican restaurant los sombreros taqueria was a good choice and specially the food is halal and the service there was so good which I like it
Tacos Los Sombreros is a hole in the wall joint serving halal Mexican food. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. I liked everything I have tried here...quesadillas, fajitas, tacos, burritos. The birria is succulent and the loaded nachos were a hit with the kiddos. Restaurant is small and the service a little slow, but the food is worth it.

This is a small place with about 4 tables. We ordered the loaded fries and enchilada platter.
The food was good but they didn’t have some staple Mexican items like salsa verse, and green mole. We had to go up to the counter like 6 times for water, plates, utensils, and containers.
I recommend for first-time diners. But there are better halal Mexican restaurants in Lombard and surrounding suburbs.
