While it's a wee little place that often isn't crowded, the staff is on the ball and the food is better than you might expect. They do a serious take out business for a reason and their prices are reasonable especially for the fresh food.

First time coming here and the Service was terribly slow (even tho it was not packed), we waited 10 minutes to even get a water. The eggrolls we ordered were undercooked and the pork inside was pink. The steak habachi was bland, and the steak has no taste. We brought home some of the sushi to my dog (who loves sushi) and she wouldn't eat it hahaI definitely would not recommend this place

I've driven by this restaurant hundreds of times over the years and never tried it until last week. We decided to get takeout on a cold wintry day and the food was very good! Was it the best sushi I ever had in my life? No, but it was tasty and we will definitely be getting food from there again soon! Can't rate the restaurant itself because someone else went in to pick it up. I had a chicken teriyaki bento box for lunch - it was a really good deal and was enough for two meals.

Excellent sushi in very generous portions and quality. Customer service is very welcoming and professional. The place is not glamorous but the food and service are unbeatable. A gem in Villa Park!

THE FOOD WAS SO BAD. CHICKEN DRY. SHRIMP DRY. the food looked days old. Took so LONG to get the food. I actually was abt to cry while eating I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY MADE ME EAT THAT. Waiters were rude and slow. Please dont come guys take my advice im super duper wise

There is zero chance this is a 4.5 star restaurant. Food was decent, not great ( B-/C+). They bombard everything ( fried rice, hibachi veggies) with a ton of onions! Service was slow and barely ok. There were only 5 tables of people yet it took quite awhile ( like 45 mins) to get entrees, had to ask for water refills & had to flag someone down to place initial order. Prices are reasonable. Won't go back and typically don't review restaurants , but this one was so far off the mark, I wanted to alert others.

Hey there ! This place was great the food was fresh and flavorful and hot all the right spots on the menu. The service was excellent and welcoming , made you feel right at home. The ambiance was hearty and friendly in a way that doesn't make you feel like you're in a restaurant. Maybe it is just me but the geisha roll felt it was missing something, but it is definitely a place I'd go back.

We got delivery late night. Steak udon and the Tsuki roll. VERY impressed by this place! We live about 20 minutes away, so the fact that this suit.to West piping hot and delicious was nice. The sushi roll was also in great shape when it was delivered to us and it was absolutely delicious. We definitely will be ordering

Would have never guessed there was a sushi place out here. My fiancée and I enjoy sushi and are always trying to check out new locations.The building and parking lot are small, but there's plenty of space inside. We must have gone on off hours. There was 1 server/host and 1 person making the rolls. I'm definitely not complaining. the service was quick. I had 3 rolls. I always enjoy the sweet potato rolls and California rolls. Tlyes, they're basic, but you know what you're getting. I ordered 1 signature rolls, the godzilla roll. It was delicious. Service was quick and friendly, prices reasonable, and the food was good.
