She was an absolute pleasure to collaborate with and very communicative and accomodating throughout the planning process. The party turned out fantastic, complete with signature cocktails - and great whiskey - for the birthday boy. Everyone loved the ambiance, the personalized cocktails and the overall vibe of the space perfectly matched the theme.

“My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“

“I decided to go to LAGO for the first time last night, and I’m so grateful I did! From the moment we arrived, the valet was incredibly kind, and the ambience struck the perfect balance—upscale yet cozy and welcoming. I felt at home immediately, with that unmistakable “city” energy that makes a night out feel special. Our server, Lexi, was absolutely wonderful—beautiful, vibrant, and genuinely attentive. She went above and beyond to make my birthday feel truly special, and we all adored her. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and every detail reflected how much care and expertise go into this restaurant. I’ve been missing a place like this, and I can’t wait to come back. LAGO is something special.“

“Repeat customer at Beats and Brunch that exceeded my expectations, again! The attention to detail by GM Eric was outstanding, making our entire brunch experience feel like VIP service. Our server, Zero, was exceptional, and the bar’s drink selection was impressive. The staff was friendly and welcoming across the board. “We had an outstanding experience at Smokin' Jack's BBQ, a truly a fantastic addition to Mundelein.
Cody, our server, was exceptional from start to finish. He was attentive and engaged the entire time without ever being intrusive. Friendly, efficient, and clearly experienced, he took our drink order right away and had everything back to us within minutes, even on a busy Friday night.
At his recommendation, we started with the Texas Twinkies and Smoked Pork Belly... and wow. 😋 I never imagined how perfectly both would be curated. The Pork Belly was unbelievably tender and my fork went right through it. Honestly, I may be chasing that level of satisfaction for the rest of my life.
We ordered a variety of meat trays, and as a foodie family, it’s rare for us to have zero notes but we truly had no suggestions for improvement. The flavors were so well-balanced and dialed in that we didn’t even touch the sauces.
If you’re looking for fall-off-the-bone, boiled-then-grilled rib slab, this isn’t that and that’s a good thing in my book. These ribs are hearty and properly smoked with incredible flavor, served without sauce for a reason... they simply don’t need it.
We grabbed dessert to go and left with leftovers to enjoy later if it survives the trip passed our kids.

“Hands down one of the best breakfast spots I've been to in while. I first visited their Naperville location in 2021 and fell in love with the potatoes and pancakes. There can be a wait but I suggest making reservations or going before 11am. Even if you wait, its totally worth it.“

“Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Tried for a first time birria and loved it. Street tacos with lettuce, and fajita were awesome too.
Just a small sidenote - it was really difficult to wash my hands in the banos. Sensors not working well, small space to really wash hands and not just make them wet.
Will come again for sure. 5 star experience“

“We visited for the first time on a Monday in December for our holiday luncheon. It was after the lunchtime so we were well served and were able to hear each other. Appetizers were delicious and so was my fish n chips (and they even had malt vinegar!) Loved the swanky decor. I will return again.“
