The ice cream is fine. Only one person was manning the store with a grumpy face. No greetings, no goodbyes. Just handed the ice creams.
Personally, I thought the flavors were pretty underwhelming. Oberweis is the way to go if you’re looking for a similar vibe that’s 10/10.

I had a really disappointing experience at this shop. Visited on 06/28/25,ordered three medium cups, and the employee prepared them and set them aside. But just as I was about to pay, a woman—who I assume was the manager or owner—came in and said something to the employee. To my surprise ,she then took each cup and scooped some of the ice cream back out. If her aim was to drive customers away, she certainly succeeded. It felt disrespectful and left me feeling undervalued as a customer. Such treatment makes it hard to want to return or recommend this place to anyone.
I've visited a total of two separate times here within the month and I give a glowing review of 5 stars for the extremely kind staff here and the delicious ice cream.
My favorite so far is the hot fudge sundae and my pup Mr. Troika enjoyed his pup cup too!

Ice cream was great! Only 4 stars because of the price. A little pricey even for the Chicago area. But it was delicious!
