Food was just ok for the price for all 3 of us but the service and atmosphere was great. Parking can fill up on busy fri/sat nights but again its worth a stop. I might try again but great food is not hard to find in the Northwest Suburbs. If they step up the kitchen food this place would rock !
It was OK, not bad, but nothing to write home about. The 'Oldest Restaurant in Illinois' claim is a nice, charming magnet for patrons. They also advertise their burgers and source (Dorflers Meats), so I tried one. My 'medium' ordered burger came well-done and dry, so I couldn't really appreciate the claimed superior source of their meat compared to the average patty... too bad.
