Awesome old rocket cooler. Great food and cold beer.
A real bad where locals mix with travelers trading stories and making friends. I was passing through on business, but my local biker friends recommended the place. I pull up to find a horse hitched out back. Turns out the horse's owner has passed thru here 18 years ago and remembered the place after all those years. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, the food is good, and the prices are cheap. You can't beat the atmosphere. This is the kind of place that trendy bars wishes they were. A unique hole in the wall that won't disappoint you, stop by Dave's Lost-ant and create your own stories.

Well I wouldn’t know how the food is because my mother and I walked in, seated ourselves (no one was there to do so which was fine because there are only a few tables to choose from) then we sat and waited for a menu or even just a hello. Neither of which came. The man behind the bar couldn’t be bothered to even look in our direction and the lady waitress busted a table and said she was taking her break to the man behind the bar. So on that note, after waiting a while, my mom and I just walked out. I found this place online after a doctor’s appointment out of town and I thought it’d be nice to give a VERY small business a try but apparently if they don’t know who you are in the small town, you just don’t get service. I even called in advance to make sure they were open and serving!!!! Very unprofessional, rude, and I couldn’t tell ya how the food is because I didn’t get the chance to order any :/
Food is great

Perfect stop between Chicago and Peoria to meet a friend. Superb host, lovely people, cosy atmosphere and great food. 100% recommend for all that’s best about the MidWest. Thanks so much!
Best fish in our area as well as all of their food! It's a small bar and everyone greets you when you walk in.

People very friendly. Owner spent long time with us on a question I asked about a display. My half pound burger was huge and juicy. Comes with chips. If you want fries, it's extra. People that come in say hi for the most part. Small town charm.

Typical local small-town bar. I had a cheeseburger and fries and it was delicious. I am not an alcohol drinker so I can't attest for that aspect. My diet Coke was good but you can tell when a can of soda has been left in the heat and then put in the fridge, it changes the flavor. This was the case here. I would still go back no problem though.
