Stopped in for quick dinner while traveling through the area. Laid back place. Got a cheeseburger and chips. Burger was cooked perfectly, lettuce and burger roll were crispy and fresh, chips were great.

The food is bar food. It is done well but you know what you are getting. Our server was quick and attentive. The table we sat at was weather worn. We went there to sit outside by the river. It did not disappoint. I highly recommend for a chill hangout with anyone who is looking for a low pressure experience.

Absolutely.The worst service I ever had at any restaurant in rockford. I wouldn't let me dog eat the food there. The bar is nasty then parking lot has trash all over the place.

Not a bad place to sit on the water and grab a drink or bite. Atmosphere would be better if they didn’t allow smoking on the patio. Nothing better than having to smell cigarettes while you eat.

Love the music on the deck. Love the crooners indoors: professional and amateur with karaoke. I used to have Karaoke Open Mic facebook to share where it was. Glad there is more in Rockford.

I had the western burger it was delicious, my husband had the pork tenderloin it too was very good. The patio is very nice with lots of tables and umbrellas. The inside of the bar needs a few things fixed (ceiling tiles with water damaged) but otherwise was very clean. Our waitress was terrific. She came back to our table many times making sure everything was good and removing empty glasses, bottles and plates.
The guy gave us our menus and never seen him again. Maybe 3 other tables in the place with people at them. Finally got up and left. Will not be back

Decent food but pretty expensive for what you get. Nice view overlooking the river but the Friday fish fry was overcooked pretty bad, the cod and walleye. You could tell it would have been good if cooked properly, but mine was chewy and the wife's was so overcooked that she had to discard all the burned spots. Ironically, even if the fish was perfect, we wouldn't order it again because it was $17.00 for 3 small pieces of cod and one larger piece of walleye. Fries are included though, unlike other sandwiches which only come with chips where there is a $2 upgrade fee for fries. No coleslaw included with the fish dinner. Little things make a difference especially at that price. We may try it again for the burgers so I'll have to update after that. Had to knock it from 4 stars down to 3 after reading other reviews seeing that the fish fry was supposed to come with cole slaw...OURS DID NOT!! I guess I should have been suspicious and complained!! The vibe I'm getting about this place is that they get 'enough' business and just don't care if they overcook food, take too long, forget part of your order etc. Must be nice to have a good location that keeps you busy, but I can guarantee one thing. If there were many places in Rockford with riverside dining, this place wouldn't be near as busy and they'd be improving their flaws to stay competitive.
