best mexican restraunt in the rockford il area. i been go to alvarez since i was a kid. great food,great service and the owner a cool guy.
I stopped in after not having been there in several years, when I used to come in every Christmas with my (3) kids. I have so many fond memories of bringing my kids, family and friends here.
I had their famous Chicken βBuggy Burritoβ along with chips and their authentic white cheese and salsa dipβ¦ it was even better than I remembered !!!
