After going to the local fish place experiencing racism going to the local Jamaica place being dismissed by because of our race we ended up here great service young girl just started with an accent outstanding job. Nice prompt courteous food was good rescued a bad Mackinac city experience from those other two crappy attitude field restaurants

I've been coming to the Depot for years and it's always such a fun treat. The food is always delicious and the service is great! It's also always decorated so cute for the season (especially at Christmas). I was just there a few weeks ago with a friend and while the food was as delicious as always we were both disappointed to find out that they've stopped selling hot tea by the pot and instead have single tea bags and a list of flavors to choose from. When we asked why they've stopped selling their usual hot tea we were told that too much was going to waste at the end of the day. We probably live in an area where drinking hot tea is not as common, but I always saw plenty of people with hot tea whenever I went. And while I understand not wanting to throw out the extra tea at the end of the day, the hot aspen tea was actually always my favorite part of coming to the Depot, it was just as important as the food in my opinion. Is there a chance it will be brought back? Or a way to brew smaller amounts that would solve the problem of too much at the end of the day? I'd even pay more for tea if that would off-set it. It's not going to stop me from having lunch here because everything else is still fantastic, but it was a huge let down to realize there was no more hot aspen or peach tea...

Terrific staff! Lovely atmosphere! Delicious food. The tier meal is a special feature here - the diner chooses a soup or salad for the first part of the tier, a main entrée for the second tier and dessert for the third. A perfect way to celebrate a friend's birthday or special event. Make a reservation!

We had a very delicious meal. It is a quiet, relaxed atmosphere and nicely decorated. There were no empty tables and everyone was enjoying themselves. If you haven't been, I would recommend you make a reservation and go.
