“Great place. Drove from Bloomington to check it out. Good waitress. Mexican sweet corn dip was excellent, spicy chicken wrap “boom wrap” was killer, sweet potato fries were cold but good. Wedge salad was great too! Good beers on tap! We will be back.”
“Very nice place. I highly recommend the broccoli cheddar soup and turtle cheesecake. They are kid-friendly. Love how they gave my daughter a teacup for her Diet Coke and a pitcher. The staff were great too. I recommend reservations. Will be returning.”

“The service was great the waitress was great and the cook was great she cooked everything just the way we wanted it and came out to make sure it was right. You don't see that very often ”
“We had the honor to shoot a wedding at Mackinaw Valley Vineyard and it went really smooth. The on site staff was really friendly and helpful. The only glitch was rehearsal, whomever it was onsite struggled to keep it moving in a positive direction. We got through it though.Wedding day went off without a hitch. The staff was on point with anything the couple or my team needed.Great property to shoot at - amazing angles every which way you turn! I hope to come back down in the future!”
“First time we'd been to this local cafe place & we felt very welcomed! Their menu has plenty of options & combinations. The portions for breakfast were great. We will definitely come back!Parking: Limited parking along side of building, to left of front door.”
“Decent food good vegetable soup just dont give enough of it maybe try all you can eat soupWent back to Jack's last night ordered the fried chicken which was great but I was disappointed with their vegetable soup was Luke warm at best but what I didn't like was the addition of broccoli an cauliflower in their vegetable soup it overpowered the other veggies in the soup didn't taste like the soup I had gotten before my suggestion to you guys is leave the broccoli an cauliflower out of your soup thank you”
“First time there, waiting on my wife for school. Had a great time, drinks priced very well, had the fried pepper Jack cheese balls and fried pickles. They were Amazing. Upon leaving had to order another fried pickles for my wife. Hour and a half trip home she was still saying the best she's had ever!! Owner was my bartender/server who had perfect customer skills. Very sweet and makes you beyond comfortable. Will definitely go out of my way to return next time with my wife for a full dinner.”
“Best dinner theater I've seen. Entertainment is great fun, talent is superb, owner Abby Reel is an exceptionally creative host to many gifted employees, both on and behind the stage.Vegetarian options: Alfredo pasta, mixed vegetables and roasted (crisp) potatoes. The broccoli salad that precedes dinner is excellent.Parking: People park in a random "pattern," so it's not always easy to exit without someone in your way or you in theirs.”
“Frequent stop of mine and love the food and the service. I stopped in Friday night with my wife and had the bluegill special and it was fantastic. Perfectly seasoned and breaded crispy and more than enough to make this big eater full. Paired with the sweet potato fries and salad was a delicious meal. Their appetizers are also great and would strongly recommend the buffalo chicken won tons which is a never miss for me when I'm ordering. Great bar as well with a nice selection of draught beer and whiskeys.”
“This place is Awesome!! So much craftsmanship in this place. They have a couple of craft beer on Tap and you couldn't ask for more Awesome people to be aroundThe owner has completed all the work his self, took a few years but he did it.”
“Food is always amazing whether it’s in the restaurant or catered. Amazing service, accommodating staff, great service! Will continue to dine in as well as order catering.”
“Never had a bad experience here. Food is always top notch and so is the service. And the pies, all homemade and can't go there without getting a piece with some ice cream.”
“Every time I go here I’m super happy with it! Nice baristas, interesting drinks- I got a white chocolate iced espresso with salted caramel cold foam. Super strong and super good!!! The inside seems really cute too lots of little nooks and comfy couches and the food looks really good and surprisingly substantial for a coffee shop.”
“Food was good, atmosphere was great, the staff was very nice but we went right at lunch time on a nice Sunday and the place was super busy and it took a long time to get our food, no big deal because we weren't in a hurry, but something to keep in mind.”
“Fantastic! I'll match their ribeye against anyone's in the area. The crab cakes and wedge salad made for a wonderful meal.Service was top notch. Can not wait till our next visit”
“We love this place! Sushi and non-sushi items are good. Prices are fair. A favorite roll is the Naruto roll, which is wrapped in sliced cucumber rather than nori. Also love getting the tamago sushi (sweet omlette). Family run business with consistently great service. Our favorite place to eat in Morton. The lunch deals are also very good. Some vegetarian options available (sweet potato roll, vegetable tempura, etc), and they are very yummy. I suspect some items (such as tamago) that seem vegetarian might be made with fish products- so be sure to ask.”
“This may have been the best fried tenderloin I’ve ever had! Husband had a burger which was good also! The chips are waffle chips and very yummy! I got my fries well done and I usually don’t like thick fries but these were actually really good! Highly recommend. We got it to go which was good because it was very busy inside. I’m not sure how we’ve never tried this place before as my mom lives less than a half mile from here but we will definitely be back.”
“Love shopping local and this place doesn't disappoint! We purchased a selection of scones and shared them all. So delicious! So much better than a chain coffee place.... well done!”
“Hands down the best coffee shop in Morton! I always stop a few times when I am in town. Their holiday/seasonal flavors are unique, and the food is consistently good.”
“I contacted Miranda about a gift certificate for my Mom. I live out of state and didn't know if gift certificates were available or not (YES - Gift certificates ARE available!). Miranda responded immediately and made the process SOOO easy. I could not have asked for more! Miranda sent me a link to pay online and is mailing the certificate to me, or offered to mail it directly to my Mom, or said she could pick up in person. So many options - Miranda clearly is 100% customer-focused. I wish every business was this friendly, professional, efficient, and easy to deal with. Wouldn't the world be a better place if that were true? I am so thrilled and can't wait to give this to my Mom. She will be tickled pink. Truly the perfect gift.”
“The best bar in Tremont to stop and have a drink especially if Taylor is working. She is a great hard worker and has very good people skills. 10/10 would recommend!!!”
“First time visiting this place and loved it!! The girl behind the bar was really cool and friendly, the place has a welcoming setting and daily specials. There are two dart boards and a pool table. Will definitely come back.”
““The Confectionery” in Morton IL was an extremely great experience, wonderful people running the store, great options for treats! The chocolate chip cookies were to die for, and the Pastries were extremely well done! New favorite stop when in Morton!”
“Our barista, whom I didn’t get the name of, was super friendly and helpful on Thursday morning. The food and drinks for our drive were delicious. The building was clean and welcoming.”
“My family & I have discovered the best bakery In the USA! We have bought from multiple baker's over the years. We were blessed with meeting Lisa. She is as amazing as the goodies she bakes. Everything we bought was light, and moist. It was great to meet you Lisa! Thank you for an amazing experience. Many blessings to Baked Blessings by Lisa!!!”
“Good bar food, solid drinks, great service, quick and timely ordering and food arrived in good time. The atmosphere is super friendly and feels safe while inside. Many locals support this establishment, including people from Peoria all the way to Mackinaw. Easy street parking. Enjoyed a night with friends on karaoke night, locally run by a family who loves supporting this establishment too. Had the build your own nachos (def. Baseball game style, simple, nacho cheese add your own toppings) basic, large portion of fried pickles and chicken tender bites with their traditional mild sauce. Everything was as expected. My friend didn't like her chicken wrap, and said the chicken tasted kinda bland but asked for sauce on the side. Thanks!”
“Thin crust pizza is amazing. People that work there are wonderful. I ordered for pickup during closing and they were nice enough to let me. Pizza was not rushed and had a perfect crispness to it. Thank you. The interior is nice enough to dine in as well.”
“Unable to score atmosphere since did not eat at restaurant and had from food truck at my work.I hade the BBQ pork pizza which was delicious! I would have given 5 stars for service, however, the young lady with the tattoos did not practice safe food handling (I was certified in my many years in the industry). She wore the SAME pair of gloves while taking our orders, handling money, and then assisted to help prepare pizza. I would educate your employees with the food truck regarding this as this is a cross contamination issue and obviously transfer of germs from patron to patron.”
“Small town coffee shop. The staff is very friendly and tries to get your order out as fast as possible. Obviously, the morning hours are very busy, so I find that ordering online is the best option if you want to be in and out quickly. The drive-through can be a little slower, especially if it's busy. Like all businesses, they can be understaffed at times. It's very nice to have a small town coffee shop where you can go and grab a cup and maybe sit inside or outside and relax. They have wifi and have a friendly atmosphere. Stop by and have a cup.Parking: ELI'S is located in the downtown area, and street parking can be difficult at times, especially at certain times of the day.”
