“Fantastic! I'll match their ribeye against anyone's in the area. The crab cakes and wedge salad made for a wonderful meal.Service was top notch. Can not wait till our next visit”
“We love this place! Sushi and non-sushi items are good. Prices are fair. A favorite roll is the Naruto roll, which is wrapped in sliced cucumber rather than nori. Also love getting the tamago sushi (sweet omlette). Family run business with consistently great service. Our favorite place to eat in Morton. The lunch deals are also very good. Some vegetarian options available (sweet potato roll, vegetable tempura, etc), and they are very yummy. I suspect some items (such as tamago) that seem vegetarian might be made with fish products- so be sure to ask.”
“Good bar food, solid drinks, great service, quick and timely ordering and food arrived in good time. The atmosphere is super friendly and feels safe while inside. Many locals support this establishment, including people from Peoria all the way to Mackinaw. Easy street parking. Enjoyed a night with friends on karaoke night, locally run by a family who loves supporting this establishment too. Had the build your own nachos (def. Baseball game style, simple, nacho cheese add your own toppings) basic, large portion of fried pickles and chicken tender bites with their traditional mild sauce. Everything was as expected. My friend didn't like her chicken wrap, and said the chicken tasted kinda bland but asked for sauce on the side. Thanks!”
“Thin crust pizza is amazing. People that work there are wonderful. I ordered for pickup during closing and they were nice enough to let me. Pizza was not rushed and had a perfect crispness to it. Thank you. The interior is nice enough to dine in as well.”
“Had a great time spending Thanksgiving with my husband and with the LaHood family at the Schooner's restaurant thank you so much for inviting us to spend the holiday with you and your family.”
“Plenty of free parking although it's a hike to get in from the parking lot so if you have trouble walking be forewarned. The store was clean and well managed, we had a brief wait for a table but not too bad. Staff was courteous and attentive. The food was pretty good, not great but good. Portion size was average. The restroom was clean and well stocked. Food was out quickly and our orders were correct.”
“We stopped in for lunch. Wife had lasagna and I had baked cheese Ravioli. Clean, very efficient and the wait was perfect. We enjoyed a quiet lunch together and the atmosphere and staff were amazing. Not something you get at a fast food or a busy name brand restaurant. I Highly recommend this place.”
“We absolutely LOVE LaGondola. I moved out of state over 20 years ago, but every time we're back in the area to see family LaGondola is on our checklist. I've never visited the Morton, IL location before and the building leaves a lot to be desired, but the food and service was perfect! We were going to dine in, but it was freezing cold in there and although we didn't ask, we also didn't find a bathroom so we decided to take our food to go and hit a gas station with a bathroom on our way out of town. I'd recommend everyone to pick up some LaGondola for a great meal! Thank you!”
“We hit this Culver’s several times. Had the fish dinner, also the walleye dinner, the butter burgers, and milk shakes. Servers couldn’t be nicer, tables were clean. Enjoyed stopping here while visiting Morton.”
“EXCELLENT food, price can’t be beat ($11.99/person at lunch time) for the quality, top-notch service… very very polite and nice employees and quick to refill drinks. Always clean despite a lot of customers coming through. Love it here! Went here for my birthday today, amazing as always. My favorites include: the chicken skewers, Shanghai rolls, fried rice, general Tso’s chicken, coconut shrimp, and all sushi varieties!!! Give it a try, well worth your money and in fact I leave a tip every single time because you get much more than you pay for!!”
“I love the option of having clicklist on my way home from my Peoria to Bloomington commute, it makes getting groceries, something that would take an additional hour on top of a ten hour day quick and painless. The reason I am giving a 4 was because sometimes you get items people never would have picked up for their own household- such as the brown apples (pictured in comments) I received yesterday. I am not going to drive to Morton to take them back, but after I open and go through the bag it looks like a lot will be tossed. Just get better at picking out what YOU would pick for yourself.”
“Food and service is always fantastic! They have several different flavors of margaritas, the chips and salsa have a bit of a bite (perfect for the margarita), the chicken fajitas are so flavorful! Definitely suggest this to others!”
“Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kid friendly items on the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: A little tight coming through the store part but easy once your on the dining side.”
“The staff at this Taco Bell in particular was super friendly and I don’t know if it’s because I’m in the Midwest now but the way that they answer the phones is so much more professional and kind. I love it.”
“First time we'd been to this local cafe place & we felt very welcomed! Their menu has plenty of options & combinations. The portions for breakfast were great. We will definitely come back!Parking: Limited parking along side of building, to left of front door.”
