“Every time I go here I’m super happy with it! Nice baristas, interesting drinks- I got a white chocolate iced espresso with salted caramel cold foam. Super strong and super good!!! The inside seems really cute too lots of little nooks and comfy couches and the food looks really good and surprisingly substantial for a coffee shop.“

“We are from Davenport,Ia.. we went to Peoria to see the museum and planetarium. After we were done we decided to find somewhere to eat. We came across this place and decided to go here. We had the catfish, greens, sweet potatoes, and spaghetti.This food was so good! Everything was seasoned to perfection! Talk about putting your whole body into it and not just your foot! The owner was awesome! Service was great! I would recommend this place to anyone!“

“My wife was looking for a tea room in the Peoria area. In her search, the Emerald Tea Room came up. It was conveniently located in East Peoria near a few antique shops. It is open from 11 am to 2 pm Tuesday through Saturday. All of the food is made in house. The soups were excellent, great sandwiches, bread and desserts. It is family owned. The service was delightful.“

They usually have vegan-friendly pastries and whatever milk will suit your fancy for a drink. The main sitting area is very chic and cozy. There are spots outside as well as a little nook inside if you need a quieter area to sit. As for the service, i absolutely love these people. They're so friendly and welcoming, and don't just flat out ignore you if you aren't ordering like some cafes do. The coffee is wonderful and the breakfast sandwiches are made to order in front of you with fresh ingredients. There are comfortable couches and cute little tables.
