“The owner was very friendly. I always get a bit of social anxiety going into a new place. I got some infused baked goods for my co-workers. I just had one of the Spiced Rum Snickerdoodles today and it was really good. I had been wanting to go there for months and finally got a chance when I was in town visiting. She was really nice to my little one who kept playing with the St. Patty decorations and even gave her a little treat. Next time I'm in town I will have to pop in again.“

“Small town coffee shop. The staff is very friendly and tries to get your order out as fast as possible. Obviously, the morning hours are very busy, so I find that ordering online is the best option if you want to be in and out quickly. The drive-through can be a little slower, especially if it's busy. Like all businesses, they can be understaffed at times. It's very nice to have a small town coffee shop where you can go and grab a cup and maybe sit inside or outside and relax. They have wifi and have a friendly atmosphere. Stop by and have a cup.Parking: ELI'S is located in the downtown area, and street parking can be difficult at times, especially at certain times of the day.“
“Ardor provides an incredibly wonderful culinary experience right here in downtown Peoria. The food is so fresh, high quality, and full of amazing flavors. Their menu features many different options and each is beautifully presented by the very talented crew. I’ve enjoyed watching the staff prepare the food to absolute perfection - Alyssa and Kaitlynn in the mornings and Emily and Zeke in the evenings. I regularly pop in and sit at the bar without a reservation. If you don’t wish to sit at the bar, don't be surprised if you can't get a table without a reservation, and even at the bar there can be a wait to get a seat. Last week I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese and it was the best comfort food. Visit often, try the new items, find your favorites, and definitely take home some bakery goodies. Make sure to try a fabulous cocktail crafted by mixologist, Kostas. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Every time I go here I’m super happy with it! Nice baristas, interesting drinks- I got a white chocolate iced espresso with salted caramel cold foam. Super strong and super good!!! The inside seems really cute too lots of little nooks and comfy couches and the food looks really good and surprisingly substantial for a coffee shop.“

“The coffee is incredible. They roast their own and offer flavors unlike any others I've seen in the area. They usually have vegan-friendly pastries and whatever milk will suit your fancy for a drink. The main sitting area is very chic and cozy. There are spots outside as well as a little nook inside if you need a quieter area to sit. As for the service, i absolutely love these people. They're so friendly and welcoming, and don't just flat out ignore you if you aren't ordering like some cafes do. It's in a beautiful historic building that always gives me inspiration whenever i go there to get work done.“
“These folks know how to make delicious cakes! ( Much better than a very well known place in Peoria) I've had the carrot cake, which usually, I only eat home made, until i tried Aunt Dena's. It was so tasty! Today for my birthday, a friend brought me the chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. It was so moist and flavorful.... well, it was the best chocolate cake I've ever had. “I contacted Miranda about a gift certificate for my Mom. I live out of state and didn't know if gift certificates were available or not (YES - Gift certificates ARE available!). Miranda responded immediately and made the process SOOO easy. I could not have asked for more! Miranda sent me a link to pay online and is mailing the certificate to me, or offered to mail it directly to my Mom, or said she could pick up in person.
