“Went here with my family. I had the mac n cheese and it was good; the noodles had a bite to it and very cheesy. Wish I got toppings. The chicken noodle soup was very hearty. The leprechaun sandwich went well with it. My brother said that the sunshine sandwich was tasty. The service was good. You placed your order at the counter and they bring it to you. It was a cute shop. The place is mostly wheelchair accessible. The bathroom has a manual door. Will come back when I'm in the area.“
“Friendly staff, strong flavorful coffee, and delicious smells! most items are home made and they taste delicious! I ordered a blueberry muffin, veggie sandwich on everything bagel, and a caramel latte with oat milk! Too bad it's my last day in Springfield, or I would be coming back tomorrow!“
“If you want great food in a small diner atmosphere then Parkway Cafe is the best choice every time. There can be a wait sometimes early on a Saturday or Sunday morning but never long at all. We've never had anything less than stellar so I can't give a specific food recommendation.Parking: If the parking lot is full, just park next door at Aldi.“
“The ham and jam egg sandwich was by far the absolutely best breakfast sandwich I've ever tasted. The biscuit was light, fluffy and definitely made from scratch. The ham was moist and delicious. Combine with the egg and cheese, it was perfection!“
“This is such a fun place to eat, it is so nice! Picnic tables are set up and there is an indoor venue for coffee! We ate the bbq plenty of food for us to split the 4 meat plate. The Mac n cheese was incredible. The pork and the ribs were great too! I am from Texas so i am particular about bbq! It was so good! We tried the coffee too which was yummy!!! The service was so great and efficient! Please check this place out!“
“I stopped in this morning while in the neighborhood and got the fresca omelet to go. Comes with potatoes but left them out. Omelet was great. The hollandaise sauce was amazing. nice clean place, great food, and the owner Koady is a great dude. Looking forward to going back next time I'm in town.“
“I ordered the meat lover's bowl which was chock full of bacon, eggs, chorizo, American fries, and cheddar cheese. Really filling. I washed it down with OJ. My wife had the largest piece of bread pudding I've ever seen, covered with whipped cream and caramel. The two of us couldn't finish it and took the remainder home for dessert this evening. Everything was excellent. A different breakfast than the usual. Nice staff.2/20/24 update: Went for breakfast because we wanted something other than the usual fare. My wife had a large French toast muffin and tea. I had Papo's oatmeal which had bananas and strawberries and honey drizzle -- delicious -- and a blueberry parfait with their in house granola -- also delicious. We'll be back.“
“This place was a little hard to find as it was located inside a building on the 4th floor. I had to navigate my way through to find it, but luckily the building’s staff were helpful and provided me instructions on how to get here.Amazing atmosphere and very yummy coffee. The lady working there was so patient and kind, she had a very welcoming and warm aura and seemed so happy to serve every customer. It felt homey and relaxing to have come coffee and breakfast here. The sandwich was great! It didn’t taste oily or overly salty, it had a fresh and healthy taste. You get to choose your choice of bread, meat, and cheese. Definitely try one of their sandwiches with your coffee.“
“Village Tea Room did not disappoint! I went with some friends to celebrate the holiday, and everyone really enjoyed their meal!! The lobster bisque and lemon meringue pie were absolutely amazing!! My sandwich was also really good, but a little light on the cheese and heavy on the apple butter. My only complaint was that it took a long time to get our food. But they were very busy and the food was worth the wait! For being in the Midwest, I can't believe how good the bisque is!“
“Shrimp Dijon. Get some! Also a big fan of their Chicken and Caesar (trust...). This is a go-to for many of us who are close by. Great community in this space. The room is packed for music on Friday and Saturday nights. Don't get stepped on by dancers who stick around long enough to socialize and close the place down.“
“Stopped in for breakfast. They were very busy, but that must be typical as they handled things well. I would recommend the pecan waffle. One of the few places left that warms the syrup for you.Had I not been so stuffed, I would have tried one of the desserts. They all looked delicious.“
