“My pizza came was cold the order was delayed, this isn't normal for them. Must be a new delivery driver. I had to heat up which was inconvenient for me. However pizza was still delicious. It was cooked the wayvI requested. When I order Extra Extra meat, I expect a to take I a bite of meat on every bite. Some of the slices on the edge had plenty of meat, however the slices in the middle had 1 or 2 pieces. I think the pizza must have slide and the meat went to edge during the delivery.”

“To me, Hibachi style cuisine is my absolute favorite. Many area Hibachi style restaurants have similarly delicious food to Kenzi. What separates Kenzi from everywhere else is the price.Usually for our family of 5 to eat at a sit down Hibachi style restaurant, it would cost us roughly $40/pp. With Kenzi, we can get 3 meals and it’s more than enough food for five of us for around $50!We can also get all the different types. Steak, chicken, shrimp, scallops, fried rice, noodles, etc.Truly the best deal around. 10/10 food, pace of service, owner, everything.Oh, and extra Yum Yum!!”

“Ardor provides an incredibly wonderful culinary experience right here in downtown Peoria. The food is so fresh, high quality, and full of amazing flavors. Their menu features many different options and each is beautifully presented by the very talented crew. I’ve enjoyed watching the staff prepare the food to absolute perfection - Alyssa and Kaitlynn in the mornings and Emily and Zeke in the evenings. I regularly pop in and sit at the bar without a reservation. If you don’t wish to sit at the bar, don't be surprised if you can't get a table without a reservation, and even at the bar there can be a wait to get a seat. Last week I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese and it was the best comfort food. Visit often, try the new items, find your favorites, and definitely take home some bakery goodies. Make sure to try a fabulous cocktail crafted by mixologist, Kostas. You won’t be disappointed.”

“This place is great. They have the best cookie dough blizzard/arctic swirl in the country. It's actual soft gooey cookie doe blended in and not the hard cookie doe balls that hardly have flavor like most places. I grew up in Pekin but have since been coast to coast and consider myself a blizzard connoisseur. I now live on the west coast but make sure to get my cookie dough article swirl every time I return.”

“Such a neat place - Loved that this beautiful building has been re-purposed in such a perfect way. Enjoyed reading the history and the front of the menu too.Beer was really good and service too. Ordered the Jager Schnitzel, and it wasn't bad, but not very authentic, The pork was nice and crispy , but breaded with panko which I normally don't see on this dish - also the Jager sauce tasted more like a country white gravy with mushrooms. Came on a bed of mashed potatoes with spaetzle on the side. It just seemed like a very "beige" plate that could have been livened up with a vegetable or a little mustard in the Jager sauce.The menu looked good overall though and the atmosphere MORE than made up for the shortcoming from the meal. I would definitely return to try other items from the menu and sample more beers in this super cool venue.”

They are difficult to reach by phone which is a bit of a down side as I wouldn't call their food particularly fast, but the flavors are excellent. Picked up a variety of tacos for a group of friends and they all raved about them.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian tacos and a vegetarian burrito are available.”

“We ordered a catfish po-boy and a Philly steak sandwich with fries. The catfish wasn't thawed and so they took forever to make our sandwich. Wish they would have asked us to order something different. The Philly was basically like a chopped up Chuck steak with large slices of green pepper. The fries were okay.”
