“I had the Ultimate Burrito with chicken and it was fire! Can I say fire? I might be too old to say fire🤷🏻‍♂️ oh well. The Trifecta chips and salsa were also delicious, we loved all three dips😍. “This is the best mom and pop Chinese in central Illinois. Lian Wang never fails, loads of delicious food for the price. The service is impeccable. On time, I placed an online order and it didn't go through correctly. This was a large 50 dollar order. I called after awhile because I hadn't received my food, it was near closing time. She stayed after hours, by herself, to personally make my food. The kicker, she gave it to me for free because of the mix up. In good conscience I paid anyway and will always support this business.”

“I brought my staff of around 15 people in Tuesday afternoon for ice cream after a hard day of work and was SO impressed with the young ladies working. They had a lot of orders to fill while still serving drive through customers and they were so nice and helpful and worked quickly and efficiently to get everyone their orders. We will definitely be back!”

“as a regular customer, I can't think of anything on the menu that I wouldn't recommend. the food is always fast , hot, and delicious. the margaritas actually have tequila in them, not like so many other restaurants I've had in the past. the staff is second to none, every single one of them goes out of their way to great us when they see us.”

“Took a friend of mine that I haven't seen in a couple years to MacDuffs, I used to frequent McCritters, and told him, same owners, people, I kinda knew that on Sundays no food is served. So I called, she said just Pizza's. Good enough. I knew I wouldn't see my regular waitress etc. Lo and behold I walk in and there's Dee, a bartender that worked at Mccritters!! My friend LOVED the pizza! What food that was at McCritters, is at MacDuffs. I knew that, but not my friend. So good seeing Dee again, atmosphere was excellent, food, clean bar, went out on the patio, so nice!!”

“Everything is delicious & definitely the best ice cream / food parlor in Pekin. My only complaint is there is always a line & I feel that should have 1 girl/boy taking the orders & other staff preparing the orders. Service is slow cuz a person takes ur order & leaves to prepare…just holding up the line & time.some rude staff but know Mgr does her very best”

“We were there for the first time on 10/24/25 all the way from Macomb. This establishment is top notch! Wonderful service and the food was the most delicious homemade I have had in along time. We will definitely be back.”

“One of my favorite watering holes in town. Great atmosphere, awesome mix of people of all ages and nationalities. Great mixed drinks. Also the owners do a whole lot for the community. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a trouble/drama free evening. Google is asking about the food for some reason. This is a bar. No food. Just frozen pizza and some chips.

“My goto watering hole.. only bar in town that caters to the midnight crews who are looking for a brew or 2 after work. "Indoor" beer garden let's ya smoke a cig in the dead of winter & still stay warm. Cold beer still has ice chunks hanging on em. Pool table in the back to help pass time... I love this place & the bartenders who work there are a blast.”

“Enjoyed a nice supper at YBG this evening. It was my first time stopping in and I was very impressed. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. The waitress was very friendly and helpful navigating their menu. YBG offers a wide variety of flavors, apps, entrees, and beverages. I ordered The Club with a side of fries. I had to stop myself from eating it all in one sitting because it was THAT DELICIOUS! I also purchased a Strawberry Salad to go. The salad looks amazing! I know it’s going to taste even better. I will definitely be a returning customer and recommend YBG to all.”

“Many of us locals have been supporting this business for a long time now and I believe the appreciation by the owner/s shows that with the low prices and superior food selection and quality all the way around. I especially like the vast variety of food choices and the hand dip ice cream station instead of the usual soft-serve that most places have. They were really thinking out of the box. Today I took my friend, Darryl out to eat at this Chinese buffet. He had never eaten such food and I figured it was time for him to escape from his comfort zone. He was very impressed and sure didn't step away from the table hungry. By the way the cherry on the cake was that they serve Mountain Dew. That is a must for Darryl wherever he dines. I had hot tea. Get on out and see for yourselves and spread the word.”

“Pekin site. Has plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility entry and restrooms. It seemed crowded, but was greeted and seated moments after our arrival. Staff was very attentive to our needs & requests.
