this is one of the places I remember going to as a kid with my Dad and it hasn't changed one bit great hospitality and wonderful comfort food
I had lunch with family a few weeks ago, first time here. Excellent service and the Turkey Bacon Club was amazing! We will be back!

Based on reviews, Busy Corner Restaurant in Pekin offers excellent food quality and great breakfast food. The chicken fried steak breakfast comes with big portions, homemade gravy, crispy hash browns, and deliciously scrambled eggs. The pancakes will absolutely blow your mind, and the breakfast haystack with coffee is absolutely dynamite. The coffee tastes great. The service is excellent, with super friendly, attentive, and wonderful staff. The take out service is amazing and the table service is phenomenal. The restaurant is nothing to look at, with faded pictures of John Wayne and standard 4-person square tables. It is not in the best neighborhood. When full, it is loud. However, for great breakfast food and friendly service, this is the place. You get what you pay for. It beats all other options in Pekin for breakfast.
