First time ate here. The food was amazing. I has John Wayne skillet. Freshly made and delicious. I took left overs home and ate at least 2 more meals outta it. I got the all meat John Wayne skillet and best I ever had.Place was so clean and new and had about 20 tables.Price was unbelievably reasonable with skillet and toast for under $10.

While I love supporting local business, The foreign owners have turned this once local icon into a POS. They still have great service due to the long time servers. Everything is now frozen food. No more real American fries, just frozen cubed potatoes. I'll not return. Might try RJ's South Pekin.

Not what it once was. Service was good and friendly but the food was not.Orderd the Old English. Yolk was solid all the way through on both eggs, way past "poached". Friend had unimpressive biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns. She didn't want to finish either one.Will not return.
