“This 5 star review goes out to Dylan and only Dylan. The pain was worse than usual today. It’s bad everyday that’s just what it’s like living with a chronic illness, but today was especially horrible. I threw up before work, my levels were high all night, and I woke up feeling more nauseous than usual. I didn’t get to eat either. My chronic illness decided that for me. I got to work and it’s 11am my lunch starts at 4 today. I stay until 9:30pm I get to 3:30 and I anticipate eating. I make an order online. And start my lunch at 4. But it happened again. My levels drop dramatically. It must’ve been from being unable to eat the morning of. I’m in so much pain I vomit in the work bathroom. This is supposed to be a break but who am I to get a break with this disease? I spent my lunch in agonizing pain. Unable to pick up my order, I take a 15 min break and call an hour after. I’m met with the general manager he sounds like a Middle Aged guy. I explain my situation, he calls me “boss” and handles everything unsympathetically and with extreme neglect. He doesn’t offer a refund or even a coupon for a free drink. But that’s okay that’s just 10 more dollars wasted alongside the hundreds of medical bills I go through every month. I wish I was a normal person but i’m not, and my experience crushed that wish even more. I revisit the day after which was today. I make a new pickup order and everything is okay. I go there and describe the situation the day before to Dylan. He was extremely sympathetic, caring, and understanding of my situation. He expresses empathy professionally towards my condition and completely resolves my situation. Dylan. Thank you so much for making me feel normal today.
