“I wanted to take a moment and thank the American Legion Post 650 Mansfield Illinois. Thanks for Hosting Big Guns last night. It gave us another reason to get out of the house. A pure pleasure For Julie and me, to have a couple of drinks while supporting our service members. We owe everything to them and their families. Last night's visit allowed us a guided tour of their new state-of-the-art kitchen. Having worked in the restaurant and health service industry for decades. We were both elated to see all the health and safety issues they had put into place with this new remodel! The prices and food were beyond expectations. The cleanliness lets you know it was run by ex-military people. Foodservice is available on Fridays and Saturdays. All the employees we met were volunteers and just working for tips. Beer prices are $2.25 wow! The new outdoor patio is fantastic! I would be amiss not to mention the nice slot machine room. In closing, we both felt grateful to get to hang out with some of the coolest people we ever met! Allowing us one more opportunity to thank them for their relentless commitment to The USA. Still, a nice ride either though they straightened the curved bridge out.“
