Decent wine, nice bar hosts at original location. A heads up, there are two locations. They had made a post on their Facebook page about a strawberry sangria. Our VRBO was close to the original location so we decided to head there. Once we arrived, the bar host kindly told us there were two locations and that the other one, which was another 20 minute drive had the sangrias. We were a bit disappointed, as it was in the evening and wanted something close by our VRBO. They need to specify on their Facebook page which location is serving what. It’s too confusing. Also, Their hours are also not clearly posted, with two locations, their Facebook page mostly highlights the new second location. The original locations sign said open till 6pm and the bar host indicated 7pm.

Feather hills is fantastic!! Randy and Renee (the owners) created a great experience for us. Their wine is fantastic… definitely grab a glass of their Savvy Saluki!

Great spot, the cab is delicious, as is the sangria. great ambience, nice staff and beautiful grounds. Enjoyed their cabins also. We didn't know Illinois produced such good wines.

My son discovered this Vineyard during the 2017 eclipse and wanted to go back for the 2024 eclipse. We could not have made a better decision. Everything was amazing from the staff, to the accommodations and the food. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Wonderful outdoor space to enjoy the Eclipse viewing! Very attentive staff, Amanda, I think kept us comfortable all day. Wide variety of wines and sangria.

It was a nice peace experience overall. We stayed at cabin #2 for 1-2 people. A couple issues. Every morning about 6 am a loud thumbing under bedroom floor. The 2nd thing was the left sink leaks and makes the wood underneath very wet. Please let Maintenance know so other don't have same issues. Overall great place to stay.

First off, make sure you are going to the tasting room on 51. The smaller one has different hours. Second, try a mimosa flight!! Yummy! The staff here was so nice and answered all of our questions. The tasting room is relatively new (I think) and it's beautiful. The spicy chicken and biscuit was really good but it was also really spicy!

the servers at this winery are rude. don’t try to come with more than 2 people or they will treat you horribly.

We had to narrow down how many wineries we were visiting on the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail and this was a perfect pick! First off, the property is gorgeous with a pond in the back and plenty of covered seating on the deck. The server was knowledgeable and friendly and the wine was pretty tasty as well. We particularly enjoyed the sangria and later visited the Fork & Vine restaurant associated with this winery for more sangria and a delicious dinner.

Beautiful place, wine was good, sangria was great. The ladies in the tasting room were very friendly & helpful. There are some dogs that will come visit you, they were friendly and will not bother you. My little chihuahuas acted ferocious, barking at them. We are traveling in a 37 ft motorhome towing a colorado truck. Coming from the East, the road getting to the winery was a long way off the road & a lot of it was very narrow & rough, so go slow. We were heading West leaving the winery, and driving out was not as bad. But if you have the time & want to visit a winery, it would be worth it. It is a peaceful stop overnight.

Feather Hills vineyard and winery is absolutely a must stop on the Illinois wine trail. The warm inviting space greets you and with the back patio just steps away from the bar makes this a very welcoming space. The staff, especially the older gentleman should be the face of Feather Hills vineyard and winery. He had the patience of a Saint and was happy to help. This held true while a Bachelorette party made their way in and was more interested in the Sangria versus the wine. While having to multitask while answering question after question this gentleman still kept a positive vibe and kept cool, calm and collected. I greatly appreciated his kindness. The wine options at Feather Hills were very very good. The patrons were inviting, including the friends we made. The view from the patio was enjoyable and with room to walk and explore this vineyard, this is a must stop. I took several bottles with and unfortunately one of the bottles had gone bad. I'll definitely be back for more. An absolute must stop on the Illinois wine trail.
