I will never get sick of this place! I’ve been here so many times and it is always amazing. Excellent food, staff, and energy! You can’t top the all you can eat chicken dinner with a mason jar drink!
Vintage state park lodge from 1930s. The real deal. Cabins are modest but comfortable.
Had breakfast there for the first time. Good friends, great food & wonderful service.
I reserved a room for nov 5th because i drive six hrs to help out with disabled kids and veterans archery hunt, being disabled myself. Today is sept 30th and they already took money out for cabin, and if i canceled they would take 25% despite if need be canceling days ahead of time. I did not agree with that and canceled cabin,i have never had money taken out that early for a reservation and not given chance to cancel if emergency comes up and i gave days notice ahead of time!
We love this place. We stay in the bluff cabins. They're nice and large. We have dinner at the lodge every night and it's delicious. Shout out to Olivia, the best waitress ever. Ask for her. There's plenty of things to do inside and outside of the park. And plenty of time to relax and enjoy the quiet.
The food is amazing...the service is good..plenty of parking
Amazing fried chicken. The sides were amazing as well some of the best corn, biscuits and mashed potatoes I ever had.

We were enchanted to stay here. The restaurant has good food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. The hiking is out of this world. Highly recommend!

Service in restaurant was excellent. Location is hidden up narrow, winding, hilly roads, but is a beautiful drive.
We didn't stay at the lodge, just had dinner there. They have a pretty good family style fried chicken dinner. I'm not crazy about the atmosphere of a big open dining room and the service could have been better, but the food was excellent.
