A coffee drinkers paradise! Several house blends to die for. We sampled several and enjoyed them all. This tiny little place is hidden away Makanda IL. Too bad it's so far from home...I would be there every morning.
Great stop on any Giant City adventure or as a worthwhile destination of its own. Great eats, ice cream, and lots more. Well run, well curated with locally sourced goodies, and always outstanding service.
Makanda is my favorite place. Makanda Java has the best coffee roasts I've ever tasted. It's the only place I'll get coffee. Yesterday we stopped in just for hand dipped ice cream cones and a bottle of local hot sauce.
